I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality of this bed frame. Was easy to assemble by one person, clear instructions, very sturdy, and looks absolutely beautiful. I spent a long time looking for a solid wood bed frame that was simple and timeless. I read the other reviews about this product and took a chance. Definitely worth it and would buy again. This quality at this price point is a steal.
I saw a comment about the color being slightly darker than the photos. Maybe a shade or two, but I didnt feel like it was a big difference. The color is a beautiful, rich walnut that is classic and will go with your other walnut furniture.
One tip for assembly: line up the pieces and screws with the holes then loosely place them in before tightening everything down. Im not especially great at this kind of assembly, so one mistake I made was fully tightening down one side attaching two of the pieces before trying to do the other. I found that fully tightening one side first subtly changes the alignment of the other side. Rookie mistake but maybe it can help someone else. Once I figured out not to do that, everything fit perfectly without any issues!
This bed took 6 hours to assemble because most of the parts and hardware were missing labels. The tool it came with to put it together broke, and the top part of the room cracked. The bed looks nice now that its put together except for the top piece we had to glue. Although the bed is really cute it is not worth the price, and the assembly was a nightmare. The seller offered a $40 refund.
You for sure get what you pay for. I had this bed quoted to build and it was over $600. There were runs in the paint and a lot of bumps and nicks in the wood that was not covered before painting.
The instructions were very wrong. I had to take this apart 3 or 4 different times to figure it out without the paper.
You will for sure want a drill to put this together. Would take way too long with just the allen wrench provided.
Overall, the bed turned out super cute but the instructions just need fixing and the painting better.

4 years old daughter who has outgrown her toddler bed. The instructions were a bit difficult to follow but once you identify which piece is which, it goes fast. One suggestion for parents, you will want to get a box spring. This bed has rails on 3 sides to hold the bed in place and it makes it very difficult to change the sheets or make the bed. So adding a box spring will get the bed abive the rails making life easier every morning. We paired with some sheer curtains and string lights to finish the look. 10/10 would recommend.
