The overall assembly process was straight/forward. It is easier if you can use a drill for the screws, due to there being so many. That said, it is a sturdy design and is working great for our daughter and her friends.
One drawback was that I had to bore one hole for the upper rail. The hole that was predrilled was in the wrong location. I have titanium drill bits, and was able to drill the hole without compromising the integrity of the , so it worked just fine. For some, this would have been a deal breaker. You should buy.
It is very unsturdy. The entire bed shakes back and forth getting into it and even rolling over in the night. Wood shelf came warped and bent at the end making it hard to mount onto frame.

yes we like it. Great bunk bed. The only complaint is the instructions for putting together leave out some important information and if your not paying attention to the differences in posts you can put a few in the wrong spot and have to take apart a lot. Other than that I would definitely recommend this!

Very Sturdy product. It is pretty sturdy. And i must say, with 2 big boys it is holding up pretty well. We will see how good in about a year
