I love this bed frame! It is exactly as described and all the parts were there. The instructions were easy to follow and all the tool were provided. I love that the back rest is not too tall and its perfect to rest your back. The wood is good quality and the bed is very sturdy. I am very glad it has the the 9 legs because sometimes our boy climbs in bed with us and it holds us all. So, its super sturdy and very durable.
We ordered this bed for my father in law. We love that it is made of solid wood and looks very nice. It is very sturdy when fully assembled. The best feature of this bed is the assembly instructions—no words just pictures with numbers. Easy to follow, so much better than that Swedish brand! We highly recommend this bed — if the other items come with this type of instruction we recommend them too!
Bed is great. Came beautifully packed with an outer and an inner carton. Im handy but Im also 76 year old woman. So Im slow. Even so I got it together in less than two hours. Just follow the directions. They are very clear. All pictures. all parts fit together easily except for last one which I had to pry into place with the screwdriver. Oh. I used an Allen bit on my electric drill. Also did not tighten it up until all parts were assembled. One note...the bed is all wood but its wood thats made up of many smaller bits of wood glued/pressed together. Not a single hunk of wood. Still looks good and very sturdy. Im using it with a heavy mattress, no issues. Enough room underneath for storage.
I was a metal frame/box springs person for 30 years. I just did not realize there was such a thing as a platform bed (I know, I know, my interior design skills are abysmal). When we went to replace our old mattress, our new mattress was about 4 inches thicker, which is a lot. When it went onto the frame and box spring it was simply too high, I felt like Queen Elizabeth climbing in and out of bed. I had no idea what to do so I stumbled upon platform beds after some research. I checked out my local furniture stores and the selection of platform beds was pretty poor. I was looking for something sturdy and simple with no drawers underneath. I have a dog that loves to sleep under the bed, so there needed to be some type of clearance.
I measured exactly what height I needed for the platform to be and ordered this unit. It is easy to assemble and looks great. The cross pieces definitely make this nice and sturdy. Really good quality for a really good price-I would buy this again. And I no longer use a silly bedskirt to hide the ugly metal legs of the frame, since this is so attractive.
Great quality. Easy to assemble. Only complaint and it makes it a 4 Star is because the mattress doesnt stay centered on the frame. Other than that its great.
Its actually very solid wood and I really love the fact the boards that run across the frame to hold the matress up velcro in place. It means they have a much harder time moving. I got this so it can fit my 3 dogs with my girlfriend. Its better to snuggle with them than her sometimes :)
