This bed is nice. Fit of the outer parts of the base could be a little better, but its not bad.
Included hardware is good. The drawer pulls are very nice; my wife and daughter love them*. A bag of extra screws dowel pins is included, which is a very nice touch / I didnt need any, but its nice to have them available. The hardware is bagged separately for each parts group (3 packages for 3 drawers, 1 package for the base), but isnt marked as such, or clearly noted in the instructions.
Material quality isnt bad. Its all particleboard, as you should be expecting at this price point. The boards are straight smooth, and the finish on the outer pieces is smooth uniform. Letter codes for the pieces are ink/stamped on the interior surfaces or interior edges, not stickers.
Instructions.. Well, this is not a piece from the Swedish folks with the blue yellow big/box stores. They are usable, and youll figure it out, but theyre not as clear/cut and brainless as the Swedes make their instructions. They are multi/lingual, for those who want/need that. I recommend reading through them a couple times, looking closely at the drawings, before attempting to assemble anything. Once I started assembly, it went together very quickly.
The bed was packaged well, with foam blocks at the ends of the package to absorb shocks on the ends of the box. There were also two short particleboard pieces that were unmarked and unaccounted for in the instructions; eventually I realized these were just placeholders to take up space keep the rest of the parts from being loose within the package.
s customer service was outstanding! When I unpacked everything, I found that the rear panel in my package was cracked, despite the box being intact. I called the customer service number at around 7pm, and spent only about 2 minutes on hold before speaking to a very nice human. The replacement part took about a week to get to my house. I was a little worried about a single, long particleboard board going through the FedEx chain from Canada to get to me on the US East Coast, but it was very well packaged and arrived intact.

I ended up replacing the included rectangle/shaped drawer pulls earlier this summer, after two instances of my daughter accidentally kicking them at night and cutting her foot. I had to drill new holes for the replacement drawer pulls she picked out from the orange home improvement store, as the included pulls dont use standard two/hole drawer pull hardware spacing. This wasnt a big deal, since the new drawer pulls she picked out covered the old holes. Pro tip: put a piece of masking tape on the finished side of the drawer fronts where youre drilling, and drill slowly, to reduce chipping of the finish. Easy set up.
Anyone saying this took their husbands 12 years to put it together, they were doing something else or you need a handier husband. I, the wife, put it together in just over 2 hours.by myself. And its really nice and super sturdy! Its for a 4 year old, but her and my husband (260 lbs) snuggle on it to read a book just fine. The storage is great. Few words of advice is to check the parts very thoroughly before starting assembly. I read reviews and knew Id have some broken pieces. Called the customer service number and got my 2 new pieces in 3 days. Also, I live in a 3rd floor apartment and this thing was HEAVY! Make sure someone is home to help the FedEx guy if theres stairs, otherwise I assure you you will have a lot more broken parts from his pure frustration. The handles are also pretty sharp. Something to consider to its for a very young person who wont be mindful of that. Overall, great bed for the price though! Super cute! Easy assembly. Very happy with it. He loves it.
Beautiful bed and perfect for my toddler. Please note that it is a little high once you add the mattress but nothing a small step stool wont help! We also added an extra long bed rail so she wouldnt roll out. It is such a cute bed and one that she can use while shes a toddler, all the way until probably middle school if it holds up! So happy with this purchase.
As for putting it together/ I am a very good builder but I am also almost 8 months pregnant. Then again, it wouldnt have mattered because the piece is so heavy it definitely needs two people to unpack and put together. It took my husband and I about 2 hours to put the entire bed together. I wouldnt say its the strongest piece of furniture weve ever had, but it is definitely a solid piece. My only critique is that the drawers are a little flimsy and they dont securely push in. Once we added some things to the drawers, they were better, but still flimsy. works great.

It looks great! First, my husband said it took him six to eight hours to put it together (not including the two hours to put the headboard together). Next, he said there were some problems with the drawers screws and/or holes not fitting quite right. He had to put more effort into adjusting them so all three drawers can smoothly glide in and out. Lastly, I thought it had a strong chemical smell because of the formaldehyde treated particle board. It has been almost three weeks since my husband put it all together. The smell still lingers but less and less as the days go by. Anyway, that is why I ( and considering my husbands comments and effort) give it a four star. Otherwise, the headboard and the bed look fantastic! Our three and half year old daughter loves it .she feels very special and now more like a big girl! Expected.
It is good quality, took me about 3 hours to assemble since I was alone. So far no issues with the bed, Im very pleased. Im 230lbs and no problem with my tossing and turning during the night. Good deal and was easy to put together.
