It is much less sturdy than I thought it would be, the sides fold so it can collapse, but it doesnt lock, its more like a soft cardboard box with a hard top. It will hold a lot of weight, but only if you apply the weight gradually, dont step on it.
I have my doubts that this storage bench will hold anything more than 50 lbs. Its made a a cheap pressboard that would easily collapse. On the plus side, it does look nice and holds a lot of gloves and hats. However I still wouldnt recommend you try buying it
I really like the size, durability, and quality of this. I got it in beige. Im using it to store shoes in because Im tired of seeing shoes next to the front door. Considering purchasing a second one now. Definitely worth the price.
