Made of solid wood, this bed frame is very sturdy for the price. It was very easy to assemble and was completely put together in about 30 minutes. I really like how the slats are connected with Velcro - makes it super easy to install in order to support the mattress. The only thing was one of the center support holes on the foot part of the frame was not lined up properly, but other than that it is a great frame!
This was a great purchase. I was concerned at first because the price was so incredible. Could it be too good to be true? What are the chances that it would be cheap and crappy? What kind of fresh hell would it be to return a crappy bed? But the reviews were solid and I went for it. The pluses: we got a handsome bed that looks good and the Espresso color matches our oak night stands. And, the delivery was free (Im a Prime Member)! The minus: the material is advertised as solid wood. However, this is a play on words. It is made from what I call, earth friendly wood: pieces that have been spliced together to make the required lengths of the designed piece. Im okay with that. Im for it. It is not the solid wood of Antiques Road Show furniture or your moms Broyhill. Were Senior Citizens. We just want a nice looking bed. We dont want to invest in Broyhill or antique furniture that we can pass along to our offspring. They wont have our tastes or sentiments anyway!
This bed is for my 10 year old. The package was very heavy when it arrived because everything was packed together but the pieces were not that heavy once taking them out of the box. I put this bed together by myself. Everything was labeled well, all the parts were there plus extra if needed. I know they were extra because the package listed them as extra. Ive put stuff together before and get finished and have extra parts and then Im wondering where they went. All the parts and tools you need to assemble the bed are included. It took me a couple tries to figure out how to attach the first leg to the bed frame but after that first leg it was smooth sailing. The directions are pictures which I love! Another great thing about this bed were the slats. They came attached to each other with Velcro and the frame had Velcro where the slats were supposed to go. The frame is very sturdy but not too heavy.
Have had this bed for over a year now and it has held up really great. Theres no issues with it even after having it for this long so I hope it continues to last.

4. I bought a twin size bed. Other reviews note problems with the metal cage for holding up the slats, but the twin size doesnt have the metal cage. The twin bed seems very sturdy so far.
5. Saves space (the twin frame is exactly the same as a twin mattress, no bigger)
Hands down, one of the best purchases Ive made. The bed frame packaging was so well organized, all the pieces were categorized and labeled clearly. The instructions were the simplest and easiest to understand instructions I think I have ever seen for a piece of furniture. I put this together by myself, no issue. Sturdy, so well designed. Simple. The color is beautiful too. Really cant say enough. I have no regrets about this purchase. :)
Beautiful, exactly as pictured, I adore it. Just a note that interior frame may show a little under the corner of the mattress, which doesnt bother me, since it was so affordable and is great in every other way. Very sturdy, doesnt squeak ;)
