Paint scuffs easily the foot piece on our bed (mdf) was scuffed when we received it / well live with it, but that was a little disappointing.
Biggest complaint I have I guess is that the bed needs to air out for a day or more before using it / strong new furniture/chemical smell / from the paint I assume.

With a weight capacity of 300lbs, I felt it was safe for an adult to use. Unfortunately that is not the case. Today, my son went to SIT down, and the outer side board completely cracked and is now broken. My sons weight does not exceed, nor is anywhere near the 300lb imum. Im so very upset!!!!
Good price. Slats (gaps) for under bed are a little wide, nothing holding in the trundle so it will roll out, and one of the 2 small pressed boards had a nick (chunk) out in the corner. I can easily do a work around for all these issues; otherwise solid wood and so far so good worth the money
Instructions were AWFUL! Twin bed is nice and sturdy however, the trundle is a complete joke. The pre/drilled holes dont line up and its wobbly. I expected better based on the re. Interesting.
The bed is nice looking we ordered the midnight blue. The instructions are not clear even though the instructions are pictures. One instruction says not leave a gap at the head and foot of the bed while positioning the slats but there is no way to do this. I did contact customer service and was told its okay to leave the gaps and this would not affect the safety of the bed and they would update their instructions. Customer service was prompt in answering any questions or concerns I had. Feeling some type of way about the bed being made in Vietnam when wood furniture takes pride in being an American company. There are not enough slats to give good support. The predrilled holes to secure the slats to the bed were not complete so we had to make some adjustments. The wheels on the trundle bed do no lock so it slide pretty easy on low profile carpet. The trundle is very flimsy I wish I had just ordered 2 twin beds or bunk bed. The Trundle does not fit flush with the side of the bed so Im worried about my little ones fingers getting smashed. The slats on the headboard do not go all the way down so you can see the mattress on trundle bed it looks tacky. With normal wear Im not expecting this bed to last more than a year or two. Poor construction.
Its a cute bed and it should be easy to assemble, but we received an item that was obviously not new, someone had visibly tried to assemble it and broken some pieces, and deformed the central bar. We needed it and it was too much of a hassle to send it back so we managed to assemble it anyways but we were disappointed.
Its also higher than I expected but I didnt pay enough attention to the sizes so thats my bad. It will do with a security rail. I hope it is sturdy.

We assembled it pretty easily, but when my husband opened the package with the wooden slats that go on the bed, it was immediately apparent that they are too far apart. There were about 5/6 slats TOTAL for the entire bed frame (twin size). Even with a firm mattress, I could feel the slats underneath. Way too few pieces. If you go to the and Lilly website online, you will see that they sell a brand new set of slats, which comes with TWICE as many pieces and is much sturdier. But of course that is 70 extra, you have to buy it separately. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying a new bed if you ask me (they should be included!). When I contacted the company abut this, they told me the slats that come with this bed are the old version and the ones sold online are upgraded. Ok fine, but then dont sell the cheap version to customers online. Three Stars.
The bed itself is nice. Love the blue color. There were two issues, one not the fault of the manufacturer so Im not reducing the rating. The trouble started because the footboard was damaged. The company had no trouble sending us another one; however, they delivered the entire bed again and we were instructed to open the packages, remove the piece we needed and send back the rest. We did that but a few days later, we received the entire bed again! Believe it or not, we are having a hard time getting to pick it up. Although the product is very nice, be very careful ordering through ! Might scream while assembling.

Worth the money but not without a few issues.

Ok for the money
good buy! The wood cut for the trundle was slightly off, still fits under the bed but you can visually tell that it wasnt cut straight.
Broken pieces, item was not new
