Love my new backyard swing! I also bought some straps from and was able to hang it in like 5 minutes. The worst part was getting the ladder from the garage. I love it and I go swing everyday when I take my dogs out!
This swing seemed like it was the perfect fit but after one week the screws came loose the rope was fraying and we had to reinforce the seat and replace one rope. Excellent design poorly built.
My sister and I easily hung this on a tree in my yard with some additional rope and carabiners. Its very sturdy and I have plenty of space when I sit on it so it doesnt hurt my sides. I took of one star for comfort because if you are wearing shorts and you sit on it for a while it starts to bite into your thighs a little. I easily avoid this by wearing pants or capris.
This swing is very nice and sturdy. Its easy to hang with straps that are sold separately. The wood will eventually turn brown from the sun and rain as wood does if not protected with some kind of coating. So, here it is one year later and its weathered in color but holding up nicely.

We bought this swing to replace a toddler swing for 3 year old granddaughter. She was nervous at first, but with a little practice, she came around.
