Took about an hour to assemble. Went together well, all parts fit nicely. No missing parts, they even include a spare hardware bag. Looks nice. Was covered in fiberglass dust or something similar. Had to wipe everything down before I started.
First, this assembly takes a long time. Due to the combination of wooden dowels and metal binding post screws that fit into nearly identical holes, you MUST follow the directions, because you wont be able to just figure out what goes in what hole by intuition. If you follow the directions tho, youll do fine. Get yourself a full sized screw driver, or a drill if you can be gentle with it, to speed up assembly.
Once completed, it looks nice, is pretty decent value for the money. Seems sturdy enough, given the relatively cheap cost.
The lifting and closing of the lid is just a little less smooth than Id hoped. Not uncommon for one side to raise above the other, or for the whole table top to feel like its twisting a bit if you dont life it perfectly evenly. Also, the spring mechanism is maybe a little too strong for the light weight of the table, so sometimes youll be pushing or dragging the whole unit if you dont hold it down while opening or closing. Minor complaints overall, as none of these flaws feel like theyre causing any damage to the mechanism. Just maybe dont have a drink on it when lifting or lowering the top.
Fun and straightforward to put together, well labeled and instructions were thorough. Table works great so far, and love using it as a desk and then cleaning it up to be a table by putting things away. Great amount of storage space in and under tabletop.
I eat in the living room and wanted a lift table with storage this is the perfect fit plus my old table was huge wanted something a tad bit smaller. Awesome storage space for remotes mail and anything else you need close by. Thanks
We just received the table and put it together yesterday (1/09). First, the product was packaged really well and made it safely without any obvious damage on the outside. After inspecting all the pieces and ensuring everything was good it took me about an hour to assemble. Grant it I was watching TV and enjoying beverages! Once the table was assembled it operates smoothly and nicely and feels really durable and strong. There were some extra parts as well in case needed and i give this a 4 out of the gate. I am happy with my purchase!
The table went together fairly easy. It did take a bit longer to do than anticipated. Im not a big fan of flake board products, but everything is made from flake board theses days. You have to watch that you do not run your screws into far, you may blow out the face/finish side of the product. Other than that, it is a pretty nice product for the cost.
