I like this product a lot for what it does, but the lamination is frankly shoddy. The edges where two sides meet on a couple pieces arent trimmed evenly, leaving some protrusions. Also, the corner bumpers (which some may not need, but I have kids and do) dont actually stick. I resorted to super/glue to hold them to the tabletop. That said, the thing is the right size, the right height, and works really well.
Its nice. Wasnt extremely hard to put together. It does what I needed it to do. I like the shelf for added storage (I have baskets that fit). The top raises up nicely. It doesnt necessarily look cheap but its not top of the line for sure. You get what you pay for.

This is a very sturdy piece of furniture. Instructions for assembly were easy to follow. Very handy table!

Lift Bars Are Cheap
It looks like plastic wood. The lift bars are very cheap. The table top wobbles when you lift it. I dont think they will last more than a year.
