Good Loft Bed A Good Price

Thanks. Wasnt too bad to put it together. Too about an hour to assemble. Went together easy and all the holes lined up perfectly. You cant really use power tools to put it together as the tolerances dont allow for the right angles unless you were to use a swivel. Quality seems decent for the price. Once its all assembled it feels sturdy. Make sure to tighten it well. Its pretty hard to strip it out if youre tightening it because it will start to bend the before it starts to strip out. I had no problems at all and didnt have any of the bolts stripped out. if you have any problems with stability you can always go to the hardware store and get some pipe strap fastener brackets that are used for pipes to secure them to walls and doing so will prevent it from moving at all and will hold it nice and tight against the wall. Make sure you align it with a stud so it doesnt pull out of the wall. if you cant hit a stud then you can always get a piece of 1X4 board and screw it to the studs in your wall and then attach the fastener to it but place it up near the top of the bunk so the bed hides it. Thats just a suggestion if youre too worried about lack of sturdiness but seems pretty sturdy to me. When I purchased it cost around 150 after taxes.

Assembled by 18 year old teenager without help

Bless your hearts. Easy to assemble, very sturdy.

    Ok

As described and easy to set up. Place it in the corner of your room so it wont be wobbly too much

    Very pleased with this purchase

I like it. Alot more space underneath than I thought! My 8 yr old loves it. My husband and I put it together in just over an hour. 1 screw hole was not cut all the way and we had to try and. Real a tiny peice off to get the screw in, but we were able to without much effort. Pretty sturdy bed. Only thing I dont like is how thin the ladder steps are. A little unpleasant walking up them, so we plan on cutting some pool noodles to place around them. Fast shipping, right on time. Would purchase this product again.

Nice loft bed for an 11 y/o. Easy to put together by myself.

Assembly is very easy. So reading the other reviews and reading the instructions all the way through first helps a lot. I put this bed together by myself in about less than 2 hours. The other reviews and the instructions both point out DO NOT TIGHTEN BOLTS TILL ITS ALL TOGETHER. And thats true! I put it together by myself with it laying down first, keeping about a 1/4 slack with every bolt. When it was time to put the mattress slats on, I grabbed the back bar and the front bar and lifted it up. Im 56 and have fairly strong upper body strength (carried the box from the UPS truck on my shoulder because I was tired of seeing the driver sliding it across the floor banging into everything in the back of his truck) and it was wobbly. So I put the slats in, locked them in place with the plastic tabs in the kit, and then tightened every bolt finger tight. Went back through with a hex key socket and ratchet and tightened them up further. NOT TOO TIGHT! We are using an 8 memory foam mattress that we picked up from walmart that was in a box. Opened box and bag up, let sit for 6 hrs and it was at full thickness. Not too thick for this bed frame that my 11 y/o will roll over the rails. Figured Ill keep updating this as the year goes on. No squeaks, not wobbly, very well made. Next week I was planning on taking each bolt out at a time and adding blue lock/tite to each one and putting it back in tight to keep anything from shaking loose but I might not have too. Will be using either pool noodle or foam pipe insulation on the ladder. Pics will be up soon when hes not actually sleeping in it.

    Sturdy and easy to assemble.

Well worth the purchase. The bed was very easy to assemble. I did it alone, and it took me about 2 hours. One suggestion, dont tighten ther screws. Once its fully assembled, use loctite glue and tighten everything completely. I would definitely recommend this loft bed.

10 and 11 year old boys put it together very well.

Beautiful!! Our 10 and 11 year old boys built them. I came behind them for quality control of assembly. Only had to tighten a few bolts. Otherwise they picked these out and they built them.

Decent bed for price/ladder hurts feet

You should buy. Very nice youth bed. Fairly easy to assemble, would be 5 stars but it is wiggly and creaky, and the stairs hurt your feet.
