Very good bed, takes a long time to put it all together and can be a little confusing. Also noticed you have to check bolts often as they can come loose over time a little lock tight on Bolts wouldnt hurt. It also makes allot of noise when the kids move around on it (squeaking)
I was a little worried because I got excited and purchased this without reading reviews. However, its extremely sturdy and in excellent condition. I may have just gotten lucky, but my kids love it and I feel like they are just as safe on this as on any other bed. My husband and his friend had it put together in about an hour and a half. I feel like the bars could be a little thicker, but Im not going to complain too much. It does the job for sure since my children have broken 2 wooden beds at this point I dont want to have that problem anymore.
I had ordered this for my stepchildren 5 and 3yrs old. The only positive thing I can say is that delivery was earlier than expected however, the product was far from what was expected. The pipes were dented and the frame twisted. If the children even attempted to sleep on this Im afraid it would have collapsed on them. Didnt even bother finishing assembling this, just packed it back up and asked for a refund. Dorel has bad reviews for a reason. Please dont waste your time or put any loved ones in harms way for a nice price.
I purchased this bed for my 2 boys 12 and 4.Happy I made this choice works great in the room.When I recieved it omg so heavy,took me about 3/1/2 hrs to put together,felt overwhelmed looking at instructions,but really not bad at all, just hard to put things together with my fingernails.Everything had to put together with alan wrench witch is provided,but time consuming. over all very happy I purcheased this. NOW JUST TO GET MY 5 YR OLD T SLEEP IN IT AND NOT MY BED ;)
This bunk bed it very shaky and cheap and hurts my kids feet when they use the bars to climb up to the top bunk. (and i tested it out and it hurt my feet too)
I purchased this bed for about $190 with tax and Prime. It is well worth it for the money if you are looking for an inexpensive bunk bed for kids. The top supports up to 250 and bottom 300 pounds. My girls love it. My only complaint is that the instructions were horrible and it took me over 4 hours to assemble. I bought this because it was cheap and it seems like my children always ruin their furniture. Well worth the purchase if you dont mind the assembly.

No instructions
It wasnt hard to put it together without the instructions, just annoying really. When it arrived it looked like it was packaged by a 5 year old.
