Bought two. These are great for the cost. Theyre not designer, or even furniture outlet quality. But they serve their purpose well— an inexpensive chair in a cat-proof, neutral fabric that will accommodate the occasional need for extra seating. They assemble quickly and despite what another they are reviewer said, I didnt have a terrible time lining up the back seat. Once legs are on, tip the seat onto its front and slide the back rails onto the seat rails, then stand chair on the top of its back (upside down, legs toward ceiling) and push completely into place.
The search for the perfect color seemed impossible. Ordered chairs that were too small and had a nightmare with the return process. Found these gems a day later and fell in love. When I opened the box I almost cried because I finally had the missing pieces to my office. They dont disappoint! Comfortable and stylish. Amazing buy!
Just got this chair yesterday and my maintenance specialist boyfriend had to pound on the back to get it to set into place and line up correctly. This is a guy who fixes enormous machinery for a living, is 63 and no slouch. Still, he had to muscle it into place so it is not easy to put together and may take two people if theyre on the smaller side or not especially strong. The HUGE disappointment is that the legs of this chair are made from flimsy hollow plastic. I mean, theyre absolute trash that I am sure will crack, dry out, and become useless pretty rapidly. I also suspect that they will weaken in the place I am using this chair—near a large fireplace. Heat and flimsy garbage plastic arent exactly compatible. The manufacturer should make it absolutely clear that the legs are not wood or engineered wood—that they are, in fact, hollow flimsy plastic. I wasnt expecting tremendous quality in this price range but that said, I have purchased a number of other chairs in this price range that are made with much higher quality materials and way more fill in the chairs. Also, I got the brown chair and the color has a taupe-to-pink kind of hue to it (see photos)—its not brown and the color is not great.
Plastic flimsy legs
narrow rolled arms with little to no fill (see photo of my hand on the arm. I have tiny hands and can put my hand nearly all the way around the arm tuft. Its bad, people. Bad.)
Poor stitching and folds at the tufts of the chair—not attractive (see photos)
Chair back is only secured with a single bolt at the back, meaning it will crack and come apart if anyone tries to lean back too forcefully. A kid or large pet could crack the back on this chair
The poor build of the chair leaves huge gaps where the back meets the seat (see photos). This is really not attractive.
The back is warped where it meets the seat leaving a huge bump that is clearly visible and just ugly (see photo)
The only other thing holding the back in place are two slots on either side that do not secure in with any screws, so they are just channel slots—not secure and not well made
Seat night feels low but that is because there is so little fill in the seat cushion
The pile of the velvet fibers is not a tight weave, giving the chair less wearability. Daily sitting would start fraying this fiber and no double it would start to leave bald spots on this chair.
There are lines scratched or woven? Into the fibers on the seat (see photo). They do not go away when you pat the fibers to smooth them. Really badly made.
At any rate, rather than go through the hassle of returning the garbagey chair, Ill stick in a corner where no one will ever use it as an accent piece. If I could have given this item ZERO stars, I would have.
Get it dont think about it The family needed a spare chair for an Assisted Living Facility studio apartment. This fit the bill and it came in pink. We made up the room somewhat frilly for Mom since she had lived her whole life with practical furniture. It matched the lavender and cream perfectly. The back feels somewhat loose but overall, it is sturdy.

Flimsy hollow plastic legs, poorly made, weird color, manufacturing defects—not good
