The chair arrived in perfect condition and was packaged very well given the size of its box. Assembly took less than 10 minutes, and was very intuitive. The included Allen wrench was handy as I did not have to look for my own set.
The fabric feels great to the touch, and the whole chair looks invitingly luxurious. The chairs generous dimensions also make it easy to find a comfortable spot within it. The back support gives a bit as you adjust yourself into it which makes for a good fit. Unfortunately, the seat back squeaks as it does so - which hints at a less-than-solid construction.
Other than that, this is a decent chair.
Got this accent piece in grey for a room that needed a comfy chair. The chair looks like the picture with a wood that is not too dark but blends with a lot of other colors. The grey is light, but again, not overly so. The cushion is comfortably firm, meaning you wont sink into it though you will enjoy sitting in it. It is generously wide, so most people will not have a problem sitting in it. I enjoy sitting in this chair and enjoy the look.
One thing to note. The grey chair needs assembly (arms legs are one piece, the bottom, and the back, and a piece of wood that supports the front), so count on spending 20-25 minutes putting it together. The instructions are wordless, so you have to be real good with pictures (note that the arms should have the two screw holes facing out and the others facing in). Also, with the exception of the back and bottom, all the other pieces are connected to each other, so keep the screws a little loose until everythings connected, then tighten.
This chair will arrive in a large square box. Inside, the entire upper portion is one piece and the legs are separate.
Putting the chair together is as simple as inserting all four legs and tightening down two hex bolts per leg. In total, this is a 6-8 minute process.
I found the chair to be very stable to sit on. It doesnt feel underbuilt or made cheaply.
Theres an initial slight odor to the chair that fades within 30-40 minutes.
The material used is not soft to the touch and can be considered a bit rough, but not uncomfortably so. Due to the vintage/antique look, this can come off as a bit cheesy or tacky, but I quite like it and feel it has character.
With regard to cushioning, this is much like a firm, supportive feeling chair. Its most definitely not a chair youre going to sink into and feel like youre sitting on a cloud. I prefer firmer, supportive chairs so I like that. Keep this in mind when making your decision.
Overall, I think for what this chair is, its very nice. Id prefer the material was just a little nicer to the touch, but I realize its more apart of the look as much as it is due to budget. Its firm, but comfortable. Its certainly not perfect but its a very solid value, for what you get. I recommend this for anyone that loves a more vintage or antique looking chair with a bit of character.
Cheers!
These chairs are as advertised. They seem sturdy and were pretty easy to put together. I wouldnt say theyre super comfortable so if youre looking for something to hang out in, this likely isnt the piece for you. Theyre a great occasional chair though. Overall Im very happy with the purchase, especially for the price.
I have been looking for a cute accent chair for a long time and I came across this one. I liked the tufted back look as it matches my ottoman, and I really liked the wood finish colour because it goes with my old wood flooring.
There are some drawbacks though to this chair so below I will share my pros and cons of this chair in hopes that it will help you make an informed decision if you want to buy it or not.
PROS:
- Very nice and modern looking chair.
- Colour on fabric is exactly how it seems on the ad description and the neural grey goes with everything.
- Wood finish is nice to look at
- The price is very good
- Wide seat
- Lightweight
- Arrived quickly
CONS:
- To be honest, you get what you pay for. Its a cheap piece of furniture and after a couple months, it has already started creaking a bit.
- Its not very comfortable to sit in and you can feel the wood support beam on back of the seat pad.
- The bottom cushion is very springy which also makes it feel cheap
- Seems as though the fabric is slightly loose in certain areas (see photos), which tells me after a few uses it will start to stretch even more.
- It came with no instructions which made assembling it super frustrating. That being said, it was pretty intuitive to put together. Just triple check everything is where it is logically meant to go.
- The tools they give you to assemble are pretty much useless, so I recommend using your own screwdriver set, etc.
Final Thoughts:
To be frank, this is a cheap piece of furniture. So, if youre just looking for a nice accent chair that you might use now and again as extra seating for guests, this might be a good buy. However, if you are looking for a chair that will hold up to a lot of sitting, is durable and good quality – Id say to keep looking.
The chair looks beautiful, but thats about as far as it goes. It is indeed cheap quality, uncomfortable to sit in and assembly was frustrating to say the least as it came with zero instructions.
I hope you found my review helpful
This is a solid piece of furniture and looks good in whichever room you decide to place it in. The seat is reasonably comfortable, as well. In terms of assembly - it was easy to put together and anyone with basic skills could figure it out with or without the instructions.

Comfortable and well made
The assembly instructions were hard to understand but the chair was worth the effort. Sturdy and comfortable, and my cat took to it right away.
