We had a certified electrician install this product for us.
However, the fan was super wobbly when running, even on a low speed. We contacted the manufacturer and they were quick to respond. They talked us through some ideas, but those didnt work. They shipped us a new fan and it arrived less than a week later (from China to Canada). We installed the new one, but nothin was working. After speaking with customer support, it was just a matter of the instructions on the back of the remote advising to insert them the wrong way. Once we switched the batteries around, it worked perfectly. It appears the down rod on our first shipment might have been damaged, but the 2nd shipment was great.
The fan is really nice looking, it blows lots of air, and its really quiet.
All and all, yes, the instruction manual could be better (and it sounds like theyve made that improvement), were happy with this product and would recommend it to others. Customer support was good and very timely.

- the live wire goes to black.
All the parts and hardware are top notch. The blades are very nice and balanced. Its ridiculously quiet. The only reason its not a 5 star review is that the instructions are not great. Ive installed a few ceiling fans before so that helped.
Excellent product - well made components, ISSUE: - Manual is extremely poor - It is not that fact that it appears to be translated by a program to English. THe real issue is - not all components are listed ( magnetic cover not listed), Downrod has no reference to the wires that need to be feed up the tube, Wiring uses brown and blue to attach to North American Black and White wires ( a note should be added). No description of the attachment of the rod covers that need to be installed before hanging the assembly like the Yoke cover, Canopy and magnetic cover( which is not described at all or shown in diagram) . Light kit installation - Diagram is poor and details are describing the receiver install this has nothing to do with the light install - The light is not easy to install and took the most time to complete. Operation of the remote controller is basically no existent.
GOOD Quality PRODUCT - POOR MANUAL - Not for the First time Fan installer - If you have experience you can make it through the install but if this is the first fan install - not so easy. PLEASE RE-design the manual and get some qualified assistance - not a app.
UPDATE: New manual is available from the company - email them to get the MUCH improved manual.
This is a great fan. It has incredible air movement. The only difficulty I had was the installation because the parts dont match the instruction booklet.
Contrary to the instructions, there is no piece to place at the bottom of the down rod. That piece is already installed on the motor. The second problem had to do with wires. The wiring described a pink wire, but there was no pink wire. Id installed numerous ceiling fans, so I figured it out.
Overall, its a four-star fan. Great value.
I love this fan. Its so stylish and quiet. I love that you can do everything from the remote. There are 6 different speeds for the fan. You can reverse the fan with the remote. It slows itself down to a stop before changing directions. I love that there is a timer on it so that it can shut itself off. I tend to need the fan when I first go to bed, but then I get a little cold during the night and need to shut it off. The timer is perfect. I definitely recommend this fan.
