The quality and color are great. Super easy to set up. Both are easy to assemble and disassemble. I especially love the space saving design that also has enough space to store the basket underneath.
This bed is definitely value of money. Its very durable and easy to assemble. my husband took only half hour to assemble. This bed I was specially prepared for my little baby, my favorite part is that has three rails. so I just have to put the no rail side close to my bed, this way I am not afraid my baby fall out of bed. I am very satisfied of this bed. I like it so much
The bed arrived well packaged. All the pieces were there as well as the instructions. Not the clearest of instructions since there were only drawings and very few words.
It took my husband and I approx two hours to put it together. We laid out the pieces as shown on a big table this made it easier to fit everything together. The only problem we had was two of the predrilled holes were not deep enough so we had to chisel a bit of wood out to make the fit.
My complaint is the stickers with the letters on each piece do not come off easily. I’m still trying to figure out a way to get them off without damaging the finish since the instructions say to avoid using water on the wood.
Already added the mattress so I took a partial picture. This product is great! Assembly is so easy, just twist the legs on. Its sturdy, comfortable. Exactly how it was adverised. I brought a full size. Very satisfied, highly recommend.
I purchased this platform bed to hold my new, 95 pound Dream Cloud Premier mattress. I purchased the full bed size. The slats are 3 inches apart, give or take a few centimeters. Though the overall construction was fine, I noticed the acacia frame boards were not single long pieces, but shorter pieces fitted together. Will this affect longevity? I did not want a bed made with rubber-wood. The screws don’t hold well in rubber-wood. Acacia is well regarded.
Assembly.
Removing the packing material took longer than the assembly. It’s easy to miss some of the many pieces of long styrofoam. Break all the cardboard sides done flat, before removing styrofoam pieces. Some need to be pushed out from the inside. It’ll make things easier. I did have a mishap when I turned the bed over. The bed is upside down when you put the legs on. The bed fell out of my hands, and took a chip out of a baseboard. No damage to the frame though.
I did not remove the tape that is on two of the slats. My mattress, at 95 pounds, probably won’t move. Also, since the 6 legs are slim, not wide, I’d want to remove the mattress before moving the bed. The only center support on the full size bed are the 2 inner legs.
Overall, the bed is attractive. It’s nice not to look at old fashioned metal legs on the carpet. You won’t want to cover these legs up.
I did add the Allstate Accident Protection plan. Unlike their other warranties, their furniture warranties do not extend the manufacturers warranty. They are accident only policies. If the bed frame cracked when it hit the baseboard, I would have been covered.
My wife didn’t want a headboard. This bed, without a headboard, opens the room up.
I would recommend the bed.
Mattress does not sit in frame as pictures demonstrate. I purchased a queen frame for my standard queen mattress and it spills off the side, causing my mattress to cave in middle as I sleep. Now I’m experiencing back discomfort. Plan on returning.
