    not as expected

This bed ended up being a lot shorter than expected. seems to be sturdy with the trundle pushed in but with pulled out not so much. over all, its best made for a very young child. Needs improvement in quality.

    Great bed

I bought this bed for my daughter. She was moving out of her toddler bed into a big girl bed. The bed is beautiful when put together. I also like there are drawers for storage so it saves space in place of a dresser. The drawers fit quite a bit of clothing (she is only 5, so clothes are thinner). The bed took 3 hours to assemble but in all a great purchase. Great value

Half the Pieces dont come labeled

Its way shorter than I thought doesnt even come up to my knees! This isnt an issue for me but I thought Id let ppl know other than that its aming, its a little tricky to put together but Im 18y/o female and easily did it alone. drawers pull out great. Its a little annoying you have to take everything off the bed when you want to convert it. Took of a star because the directions were bad, you dont know what half the boards go to because none of them were labeled but a few, it made the assembly take 3 times as long because I didnt know what boards were what except by looking at the picture. Excellent quality and Excellent choice

    better directions!

Im having trouble putting the bed together because some of the stained wood pieces do not have numbers on them. I cannot find a customer service phone number for support or an email address to ask for the actual dimensions of the unmarked pieces! Other than that, its a great product!

Does its job but choose the right mattress!

This is reasonably good value for money / Murphy beds and some storage beds are expensive! The dimensions are perfect for a smaller spare room to save space and rolls out to a good sized double. Make a good choice with the mattress and youll have a really comfortable bed here. Downside isits not easy to assemble (many parts, takes some elbow grease and can be difficult to build in the space you have) and its not a high quality structure. Overall, this will do a job but its not going to take your bedroom game to the next level. Oh and did I saychoose the right mattress! so you get what you pay for.

    Time consuming, but worth it.

Not an easy project, for 1 person but I managed. The bed feels sturdy and well built but it was very time consuming to set up. The instructions to build the pullout slats were confusing but the rest of the bed was smooth sailing. I was missing a halfmoon nut for inside drawer, contacted the manufacturer and they shipped it fedex overnight, which was a nice surprise. (I purchased 2 classic brands cool gel memory 6inch mattresses to stack on top, would recommend them w this frame) Its a great deal for the money

    Assembly is torture

Its like an IKEA product: youre going to love and hate it at the same time. Assembly was not fun. Five hours later, the frame is pretty much put together with the exception of the drawers. We left the drawers alone for a couple weeks because wed had our fill of assembling a huge piece of to last the rest of our lives. All through the process we wondered why we needed a bed that could magically turn from a king to a twin. At least my mom was impressed when she saw it. It creaks and the paint is not thick; you can see the knots in the wood. The outer pieces look flimsy but the whole thing stays together somehow. I wondered again why wed gotten rid of the bed frame we built using 2x6s and a Kreg jig. The drawers were finally put together but they dont stay together. The front pieces want to come off so well have to gorilla glue or wood glue them and hope they dont fall apart. All this for 400! Please dont purchase this new. Look for a used one (buy mine, please!) so you get all the benefits of this frame without losing your mind first. Its not bad its just not great.

    Beautiful bed! Aming price!

The bed arrived in two large and very heavy boxes. It took me and my handyman several hours to put it together but it wasnt super challenging. You will definitely need two people and an electric drill. Im very happy with the outcome. look great reliable.

Really does take 2 hours 41 minutes to assemble

I read the reviews and thought yeah, but Im an aerospace enginee, surely a rocket scientist can put it together faster. So I started a stop watch on the phone, cracked open the box, and low and behold, 2 hours and 41 minutes. Seriously. The concern isnt the instructions, they are very clear. Its actually the pieces themselves. The vertical slats dont fit in the pre bored holes. It too nearly 30 minutes alone to bore out the 12 holes to fit the six slats. Other than that, its a LOT of screws. Bed is nice, decent quality for my 4 year old. Its Brilian pine, not particle board, but I still have concerns about putting too much weight on it. The drawers are very big. Nice product for the price. If I didnt have to bore the holes out, I would have gone 5 stars. Cheers! Very reasonable too!!
