Been camping 20+ years and for some reason it struck me that a porta shower would be nice from time/to/time.
So I purchased this unit and used on my recent 2 day trip to hills in Nebraska. Worked awesome! Did not get very warm in my vehicle, but my fault / should have left on dash
Flow is shockingly good and adjustable. I plan to manufacture a fold/up aluminum hanging frame in the future. Ill say this: taking a 2 minute shower after a 3 hour hike in woods is unbelievable! Thanks for great item.
Used on a hunting trip in the middle of the wilderness in Colorado. Took two hot showers during the week which felt incredible! Letting the sun heat it during the day with the cold nights didnt really pan out as it didnt get past 90 degrees from the window of sunlight we had. Resorted to boiling water in the camp stove and then topped it up with cold. The bag itself seems durable and rolls up nicely. The head is a cheap piece of plastic so Ill probably replace with something a little more durable for this type of trip. All in all its what I expected out of the purchase and is well priced in my opinion for having the option to get a shower in the mid heel of nowhere.
I just let it sit in the sun for a day and it told me the temperature and everything. I took a shower in the middle of the woods!! Just hung a tarp up around 2 trees and hung the shower up and boom I was taking a shower naked in the woods!! Lol
Save some money and buy this. No more slippery hands trying pull on a handle / this turn knob is the key to ease of use and conserving water in a camp shower. Perfect!
Shower bag is easy to use and the material thickness will work fine. Just place in the Sun for warmth and reach 100° easily in FL Sun! More than enough water to shower and clean up.
Expected. Surprisingly high quality for the price. Seems sturdy, works as advertised. Not necessarily a criticism, but important user point: Because of the length of the bag, the strap, and the hose, you have to get this WAY over your head to conveniently shower with it, either by hoisting it with a line over a branch or some other means. Not a good option for a place without plenty of branches or overhead structure.
Good deal and was easy to put together. Exactly what I expected. The bag is just the right size. The handle is strong, the parts are easy to manage and clean. The back is clear so you can see inside for cleanliness and how much water is left inside. Brilliant. Fantastic buy!! And a thermometer. Havent tried it yet but will next weekend
