Approximately a year and a half ago My wife and I purchased a new King-sized box spring and mattress set, also, a new upgraded frame. After a few days we noticed a ridge up the center of the mattress (top to bottom) and an indention on each side of the awful looking ridge. We went back to the large chain mattress store, where we purchased it. We were told by the manager of the store, we needed to sleep across the top, bottom, the middle literally all over to break the mattress in properly. We went home knowing this was so much B.S. We realized that it was actually the two twin box springs laying side by side. The metal cage construction was pushing up a ridge in the center of the mattress, and nothing short of parking a small car on the ridge was going to flatten that annoying ridge. We lived with it for a while. Then my Wife found the 14-inch King Bed Frame with Round Corners We figured this was the answer to the ridge issue. We ordered it, put it together (very easy to assemble). Then the big test. Would it be a good night sleep? Let me tell you, it was the Greatest night sleep. The best night sleep since we bought the mattress. The 14-inch King Bed Frame came through. It is so much better than a box spring. Its perfectly flat. It doesnt creek or make a noise. Its very sturdy. Built very well. I recommend it to anyone buying a new mattress. Save money, buy this instead of a box spring. A Great purchase.
Because we were getting a new mattress that did not require box springs, we needed a very sturdy support frame. This one is perfect. It has many supportive legs and slats that were easy to assemble following the instructions. And there is plenty of room for under the bed storage. it doesnt wobble or squeak when in use. I would recommend this to others for purchase.
