I bought this because it converts to a bed, and we needed extra sleeping space on occasion. Super fast and easy to assemble, and is quite sturdy. On the comfort scale, Id give it a 6 out of 10. Its not bad, just more firm than I would prefer, and too short for taller people to lay full lenth on. Overall super pleased with it. Definitely looks nice.
Its even more beautiful in person ! Easy to assemble I like how the 2 bigger pieces have storage for the arms if I want to remove them. The chair is very comfortable BUT firm, VERY firm. I have a Japanese roll up mattress that I can put in top for guest. Also I like that the ottoman can be removed to add extra seating in my studio apt. Very impressed with the quality.
Purchased in Feb. 2022 / This was so easy to put together! Everything came in one box, was neatly packaged and the instructions were very clear. Took me less than 20 mins to put together all by myself. Im so impressed at this sleeper conversion! Its completely sturdy and well beyond my expectations. Dont hesitate to buy if youre considering it I was expecting the ottoman to be able to separate from the chair but its all one piece which is totally fine too. UPDATE March 2022 So, in purchasing this I had two goals in mind, 1. To find a practical piece of furniture that was multi purpose and 2. For that piece of furniture to be comfortable. While this piece is extremely practical being a sleeper conversion, it is not comfortable at all and is extremely stiff!As I stated above the ottoman piece does not separate from the chair piece which is the biggest issue with this chair. Laying or sitting on the hard support section hurts the hips and legs. Unless you position yourself sideways on the chair piece you inevitably must lean against the very stiff hard support that joins the chair and ottoman. You certainly can utilize a mattress topper or pad for sleeping purposes but that still leaves the issue of using the chair in the upright position. I love the look of it but its awkward construction makes it difficult for me to love. I may just buy a seat cushion and call it a day because I had high hopes for this. I hope the company takes into consideration the comfort issue and makes some small changes to fix this because otherwise the chair is great. Very pretty.
Super easy to put together. I added white pillow cases to better match the room I am redecorating. It is very firm, thats my only dislike. Other than that its packaged very well and the fabric is so soft! Im enjoying it so far!
