I paid for assembly which was a God-send, but they packed two "G" pieces instead of G and H. Too much of a headache to think about returning or going through disassembling to replace a flaw that I might be the only one to notice. Hopefully no one else does.
I purchased this cabinet because I liked the clean look of it, the size was perfect for my space and 55” TV, and I thought the lights were a neat feature. The package arrived a full week earlier than what was estimated which is awesome and unheard of in today’s world! The box was a little beat up but the pieces were very well protected with foam and nothing was damaged. The instructions were clear, it was easy to put together, and it feels pretty sturdy yet lightweight. My only gripe is that the remote for the lights can’t see through the glass door so I have to get up and point it directly at the receiver to change the light settings. Other than that, I’m very pleasantly surprised with this relatively inexpensive cabinet and would not hesitate to recommend it!
I purchased this TV stand for my daughter for her new condo. It is extremely heavy in the box. Upon opening I was a little overwhelmed, however once I sorted the pieces it was mostly put together with an allen wrench and totally worth it. It operates perfectly, love all the different colors you can adjust to.
I put this together and it looks awesome. The old one I had was great but it was glass with no TV stand. It was just shelves. It’s so cozy and now covers up some of the black space on the wall now I just need a bigger TV to go with it!!!
I read reviews stating that the predrilled door hinge holes were off. Yup, I also had to drill holds to install the doors. It was the only problem I had, so overall not bad.
I really like the way this looked in the pictures, and even in application. It fits the space nicely and despite what others have reported it actually is pretty sturdy.
Three things to note:
1) The instructions for installing the LEDs are non-existent. They are there, but all they say is to check the LEDs to make sure they are working before installing them. It doesn't actually tell you how they should be installed and the way the cabinet is designed does not make it obvious as to how they should be installed to hide wiring. You'll need to be creative.
2) This mounts pretty much flush to the wall, meaning there is no way you're getting cords behind it. I actually had to create another hole in the top of the cabinet and then saw out a void in the bottom lip against the wall so that I could get the cords down without seeing the wires from the front. This was the most annoying thing to deal with and thank god I have an abundance of tools on hand.
3) The piece is heavy. The anchors and screws they send to hang this on the wall are not sufficient. I went to Lowe's and got toggle bolts to secure it to the wall. You can sit 500 lbs. on top of this now and it's not going anywhere unless it takes the entire wall with it.
I would suggest finding something a bit more easy and better designed unless you're handy.
In all I spent a good 4 hours on this from start to finish. Looks good now that it's completed. I'll post final pics later.
I really like this tv stand but pay attention to your measurements. It is much smaller than it appears in the pictures. Length wise it is okay but height wise it’s not.
I really like this TV stand. I just wish that it could have been 3 or 4 inches taller. I need a step stool to get in my bed therefore, just a small portion of the screen gets cut off when watching. As for the stand itself I would say go for it! Not only sturdy, but it's kind of heavy as well. Worth the money.
I really liked the texture and the color of this tv stand, with good price but also look luxury. When I opened it, it has no any plastic smell or other toxic smell. The installation is very easy and it also has a barcode that you can scan to watch the installation video, which saves is a lot of time. I really the hold on the back, then all the wires can be all fit in, which makes the whole place look cleaner. If you followed the instruction carefully, this stand is very sturdy. The only tricky part I got is to put on the drawer door, that might needs another person to hold on a flashlight for you. Overall it is a good quality tv stand with good pricing.
