I love this ottoman. I have never ordered furniture pieces through but after reading reviews on this I decided to give it a try. I love the color (mine is grey) as it coordinates well with my other modern grey pieces; I truly appreciate that its a nice size for our space and the quality of workmanship is quite good. The one warning I would share is to not force it to move on carpet or anything that it seems stuck on. Reason: the block that each leg attaches to is MDF and if forced, that MDF will totally disintegrate and the leg will rip out. We are not hard on furniture. I still have a love seat that we bought in the 1990s and its still sturdy and in great condition. Fortunately hubs is a woodworker and after pulling staples out and folding back the dust cover (which was nicely attached I might add) he was able to pull out the disintegrated MDF block and replace it with a real wood block after inserting the screw head that the leg attaches into. So it is repaired I am pleased. However, we noted tonight that a second leg will likely need the same treatment. I am impressed with all the rest of this ottoman, I just wish they would manufacture that critical spot with real wood. We will be putting 1.25 inch slider/glider caps on the legs to avoid any other chance for damage.
This is a great storage ottoman! I hold my extra blankets and bedding in this for when my mom stays with us. I wish it was a little bigger so I could also store my extra pillows in there but I have those somewhere else. I love the raised side that comes up and even found a hook (on the inside) where you can lock it in place!!
Overall it looks good and does the job/ this is temporary while we have a baby/ toddler and need something softer. The only complaint is that the doors pop open very easily/ I wish they were a little more sturdy in terms of closing securely. Good storage!
We traded in a hardwood craftsman style coffee table for this due to a baby of furniture walking age and are completely satisfied. Baby likes it too. Cloth material has endured 3 spills in the last four weeks and still has zero stains. Good amount of storage area as well we keep all of our extra blankets and our sleeper sofa bedding in it. Isnt ultra padded, but its not wood corner hard either.
Edit: This lasted right around 9 months before the kids( biggest is 14 year old boy, 110 pounds) and the dogs(35 and 30 pounds) caused its first material failure. One of the legs broke off. Downgrading to three stars for the lack of the products longevity in a normal home environment.
Update. If purchasing two, buy together. We received 2 different materials and 2 different colors even though it said they were the same ottoman. Pretty disappointed but Im just going to deal with it. The second ones material seems like it wont hold up as much as the first one they shipped. Both said dove grey was the color.
Bought one for an ottoman and I love it. Was easy to put together. Looks like it will hold up nice. Just bought another because its my kids new favorite place to sit. Now we have a ton of storage and we arent cramped on our 3 seater couch
Ok, so the ottoman I got was not the one I ordered. I ordered the fawn tweed material and got very dark brown . That being said, I ended up keeping it. I love the function on one open trunk too and one lift tray. It came boxed well with no damage. The only other thing I dont like is the hinges are visible on the side I have facing out into the room. It wouldnt be a big deal if they were black or bronze, but they are silver. We will see how it holds up over time. Overall, still a good purchase when is comes to size, function and aesthetics.

Not what I ordered
Love the product but like other reviewers did not get the color I ordered. Disappointing.
Best purchase this year!

Damaged.
Item came damaged. Huge disappointment
Looks good and functions adequately

Ok for price
So far so good. It was very easy to assemble. It does feel slightly cheaply made. And the top is not comfortable however we use it for our feet
functional piece with good styling.

Good buy, if you get the right one.
