Simple and does the job. I was pleasantly surprised with this bed. Instructions were clear and well thought/out with little room for error. They provided some extra hardware which was nice as well.
Everything except the footboard insert is real wood, and even that insert is still pretty high quality and durable feeling MDF. We went with the white finish which was smooth and consistent with no areas really missing paint. Assembly took about 45 mins even with my daughter excitedly helping me put it together.
My only gripe about the bed and the only reason Im deducting a star is that the slats are too few. The space between them seems considerably larger than expected and you can sort of feel it even with a quality mattress on top of it. I may add more slats later myself. I like how they have all the slats connected together with a stapled canvas so that you dont have to space them yourself, just put both ends tucked into each corner and everything else is spaced accordingly. Only problem there is the wood is so soft that a lot of the pocket screws dont grab and I had to forego the pocket holes all together and just screw straight down into the wood and into the frame vertically instead of at a 45 degree angle.
Overall great value for the money though and would not hesitate to recommend. You could certainly do a lot worse for the price.
Struggle. The bed is easy to put together, and I havent had any problems with it yet, since no one has slept on it, but since I bought it it has a paint smell that doesnt go away, its a strong smell and I dont know if it could be toxic. for the kids
When I thought of returning it for this, time had already expired and the truth is that I dont know what to do with it, the smell of paint or chemicals doesnt go away.
We bought this bed for our 6 year old daughter.
It looks great, was easy to put together, overall we love the bed. Unfortunately, one of the wooden slats broke when an adult sat on it. We only had the bed for a month when it happened. This bed claims to have a 400lb weight limit. It couldnt handle 170lbs.
Easily the worst instructions for an item of furniture I have ever worked with. Im 53. Yeah good luck parents. Missing entire parts. Theres a metal bar that supposed to run down the middle. Where does it attach to on the footer? Youll find out hopefully after youve put the bed together. Also you need a drill. Zero chance you you can screw everything in by hand. Half the spots have zero holes to start. Grabs drink.
Arrived early! The bed is very nice and seem easy to accomplished. After we set it up and have our kids to sleep for couple nights and found some issue with the bed. Its not as steady as it mentioned. Easy to crack on the the frame. The Slats length is too far. It doesnt seem to hold the weight it mentioned. I think this bed is only for kids thats under age of 12. The kids still like the design and the stair.
Worth it! She loves it. First off, assembly was frustrating due to two things:
1. Instructions were ONLY pictures, no text indicating any specifics.
2. There are only instructions for how to assemble the beds into bunks. I got to the beginning of the second bed before I realized there was a problem.
After assembly they felt sturdy structurally but they scratch dent VERY easily. Just the act of assembly caused dings and dents so I anticipate much more wear as tear to come as my girls use them.
They are nice beds that I can see growing with them as we can eventually use them bunk style.
Love it. Absolutely love this bed! It was easy to build and looks very sophisticated for a tween bedroom. I was very disappointed that there was some marks on the frame black lines to be exact. Delivery whats a little bit late.

good
recommend! The headboard rails are shaky
Cute, but needs better leg support.
Fast service. Great looking bed. Wish it had better middle support. Had to make a our own center leg supports.
Cute, but ours broke

Purchase the assembly
Built strong. Havent tested the weight limit yet but very sturdy construction. We purchased the technician to assemble and totally worth it.
Worst instructions in the history of furniture

CUTE. Sturdy. Difficult assembly. Scratches easily.
