This bed was a beast of an assembly, thank goodness my kids helped, lol. I added RGB lighting to the underside of the bed, where her gaming setup is at. She's got a pretty rad setup, she's super happy and I'm super happy. I couldn't ask for a better bed for her. We placed her bookshelf under the loft area as it went pretty well with the aesthetic of the room/bed. Super happy with this purchase. Both my youngest girls now have super rad places to hang out.
The other reviewers are correct. The product is good but badly shipped and the assembly instructions are the worst Ive ever seen.
My box came ripped and one shelf was damaged.
The only way to tell which screw is which is to count how many of each you got and infer their item number that way: the pictures are not informative in the slightest. Similarly, not all parts on the diagram are labeled and you have to infer the piece youre using from whatever was relevant on the prior page.
Once assembled, its a bit wobbly with all bolts tightened, but not at all at risk of collapse. A few shims should fix it up.
This bed was decent for the price paid though it could’ve been higher quality. Nothing was damaged in the package it seemed fairly easy to put together yet once it was put together it shakes a lot and there are no stabilizing bars for this product. Manufacturer should figure something out for this it’s really pretty simple that there could be to crossbars added. As it is now we will have to create some thing on our own to attach to the wall so that the bed does not shake. Unfortunately taking this whole thing apart and trying to send it back would be a lot of work and I think that’s where they get you..
This was purchased to replace our sons toddler bed. Build quality is surprisingly good and the bed was easy enough to assemble. We were missing some hardware but the customer service team was more than diligent in ensuring we had what we needed and expedited the missing items to us. I was actually blown away by the level of attention that was given to our issue and the bed was set up and most importantly, my 4 year old loves it!!! Would absolutely recommend
This bed was easy to assemble. It is surprisingly sturdy. The price was great and it arrived much quicker than expected. I love that the desk runs the full length of the bed!
I disliked that the product arrived damaged, paint chipped, wood cracked and dented. The most damaged were the shelves. The shelves are not wood, it looks like mdf, and is falling apart. But, I like that the loft bed is not too high and my teenager loves it. It seems sturdy. I hope there is a way of the company replacing the damaged pieces.
This bed was the easiest item I have ever put together!! Everything was labeled properly- even ALL the screws!!! I put it together by myself and had no problems- it was challenging because it would have been easier with two people at times but totally doable. The bed itself is well made and exactly what I ordered. I would refer this company to anyone!
This had to be the only loft bed with a 400lb weight limit. Obviously my kids are nowhere near that but you add a mattress, two kids up there, or them just flopping around, having that weight limit is really reassuring. There were 2 things I wanted to point out. They don't do the best job of labeling the bolts. It took us a long time to be sure we were using the right ones. The second thing is the ladder. The top and bottom step have dowels and bolts keeping them in place. The center two steps only use dowels. Personally, I thought they really needed to be reinforced. I can't imagine them holding up. We bought some L-brackets to reinforce them. At this price point, I was MORE than happy to buy them. Someone mentioned the beds were wobbly. We tightened the bolts we could see a week after they started using them and check every now and then. With our beds, tightening fixed any wobbling. We bought the model with the bookshelf, so that may be adding to the stability.
We got this for our Grandsons 3rd Birthday. He absolutely loves it. His parents wanted something sturdy enough that they could lay down with him if necessary. This bed has a 400 lb. Weight capacity. The other beds that had slides were not as sturdy. Plus the slide can go on either the right or the left of the bed.
