We had to make our own holes to install the railing and take apart the straps on the slats because it was about an inch too short.
The hardware is not labeled either.
A little wobbly but not horrible
These are nice beds. They are relatively easy to assemble, albeit time consuming, and seem quite sturdy. Please note that they will not accommodate a mattress thicker than 6 inches; anything thicker than 6 inches will make the safety rail irrelevant. My only complaint for the beds relates to the assembly instructions. I bought three of these beds for my daughters, and during the assembly, we noticed that the instructions are inaccurate, but only after putting almost everything together, after which we had to dissemble much of the bed to correct the problem. Not a small feat for something that takes a few hours to assemble. Pieces F and G should be swapped. If you follow the instructions, you won't have enough space to insert the support leg that goes under the desk top.
They definitely could of put another coat of paint on it. Also could use a little bit more support for side to side movement. I plan on adding some. I put it together in just over 3 hrs by my self. But I am fairly good at these types of things. Only thing I would say to watch out for when putting it together is don’t tighten the bolts too tight when working on the shelves the wood is cheap and they will start pulling through
Overall this bed is a well engineered bed, seems to be perfectly fine for a small child however I would not recommend getting anywhere close to max weight. Legs are smaller than 2x4 and held together with m6 bolts (2 per leg). You will get a bag of bolts, screws and dowels. Screws, bolts, washers are all different sizes and nothing is labelled whatsoever. The majority of the time putting together will be sorting the hardware box. They bothered to assign part numbers to the various screws and bolts but they mean nothing, as once again, nothing is labelled. One of the bottom bracing boards was cracked down the middle that was part of the staircase so I had to make my own due to once wooden dowel was slid in, it split right in half. Other than these factors overall it was a decent frame. At this price point one could expect some hardware to be labelled instead of thrown loosely in a bag.

These are perfect! I bought 2 for a shared room and both my girls LOVE them.
