It does LOOK way better than I thought it would though (except for the rip and black marks in a very visible spot from the box seemingly being pushed along the ground maybe during delivery or something.)
Like I said...for the price, the good and bad qualities average out to exactly as expected.
The couch is fine for a futon, but the arm broke off for me within a week of using it and I had thrown away the box already so it has been a pain to send back because it doesnt fit into any other boxes.
