It’s not the best quality ever but it works, it rocks as expected and it matches our nursery… I even use it as a step stool sometimes and I’m a big daddy
So - I wish there was a 3.5 star review rating... It came a little damaged, but the nicks are on the back side of the bottom part of the wood, so its okay. The seat is real firm and makes a strange noise every time you sit on it, but all in all it rocks well and is a good size! The seat is a wire/strap combo with very little give and the foam could be a bit more that goes over it for comfort - but I wouldnt say it is uncomfortable to sit in.
I do wish the back was about 3-4 inches higher so I could rest my head a bit more (I bought this for breastfeeding a newborn in our bedroom), but it is comfortable overall and the seat area is wide enough that a man would feel comfortable sitting in it, too.
Putting it together was okay - it took about 15 minutes - and that is for a 7 month pregnant lady all on her own, too. The inside of the chair has wood that is kinda messy and flaking apart, but im sure that it doesnt affect the integrity of the chair.
This is a decent rocking chair and ottoman for the price. Materials and craftsmanship are of solid quality. It’s small but not too small. I’m well over 6 feet and although my head is above the top of the back, that’s to be expected. The padding isn’t super soft but it’s fine. My one complaint is the ottoman is too short. Your legs definitely arrow downwards rather than upwards when using the ottoman. It’s not that comfortable to use because of this. To rock you basically use your legs, not your core, because you have to engage your leg muscles given how short the ottoman is. Kind of defeats the purpose.
Assembly is easy if you follow the instructions and don’t tighten any of the screws anything close to fully until you get them all in. Yes it’ll be hard to line up the holes on the last few if you tighten everything as you move along. Get all the screws in the holes and screwed in a little. You can do the last few by sight or with your finger — gets hard to do if everything is tightened but if there’s slack in the system it’s easy to line even the last few up. Then tighten it all down.
For the price it’s a good chair and ottoman particularly if you don’t want a big footprint. I just wish the ottoman was like 4 inches higher.

It’s a cushioned rocker in lieu of the lazy boy chair

I enjoyed the rocking chair. Only mishap was the creaking noise.
Comfort, super easy to assemble, sturdy.
Good Purchase

Decent for price, ottoman too short
