The seam is visible at the top center. The frame does appear to be black anodized aluminum. Mine came with a chip on the front of the frame but cant be bothered with returning so Ill touch it up. Amazing the glass wasnt broken since one corner of the box was smashed, so the packing was good. Made in China. Overall pretty good value if you need this specific type of design to suit your conditions.
