This is really nice looking and actually made if real wood. The slats are unfinished pine and do not seem as strong as the rest of the frame. Fine for sleeping, if an 190 lb adult steps on it to get to the bed above it it seems like a slat could possibly break. If so Home depot or Lowes can cut a 1x2 board to replace a slat.
Overall I am extremely pleased with the look and quality of this trundle. A twin mattress fits perfectly . Looks solid, easy to assemble.
Edit: the company finally reached out and were out of replacement parts so they ended up sending me a whole new bedset at no cost to me! This box came fully intact and the customer service people were very kind about the whole thing. They 100 made it right and they did it quickly once we were communicating. My kids love their beds!!
The beds themselves are good. But Im missing 3 ladder steps so I cant make them I to bunk beds. The box arrived in horrible condition with a big gash in the box probably leading to the missing pieces. I tried emailing the company weeks ago like instructed and still havent heard back. If I had received all parts or at least heard back from the company would give better rating. Value for money.

We ended up using all the slats for just one bed and making our own for the other bed. Anyway, now it looks great and were happy, but this bed shouldnt require building your own slats. Just increase the number of slats and this product would be great. Great!
Bedframe arrived early. No cracks or imperfections. All holes lined up correctly. No gaps in any areas. Its more of an off white color. Took me about 1 hour and 35 mins to put together. I used a drill to screen the board slats on to the frame. That made it go faster. It fits a twin mattress really good. Good.
Pretty simple to put together! With a power tool,it took maybe an hour. Nice quality,seems sturdy. There was one trim piece that is put on last on the outside of the upper bed rail that has 3 screws. It didnt screw in tight and 2 of the screws are loose.i just put longer screws through. Not a big deal regardless,its an extra cosmetic peice that doesnt have to go on. Kids love it easy to put together.

/Sturdy. Ive 2 boys 8 10 years old who bounce and are rough on all their furniture. It has held up well structurally.

/It did come with missing parts, but the company sent me replacements without any issues(although it did take almost a month).
/ Delivered on quickly and on time.

/The black paint started peeling and flaking immediately. I will be sanding down and repainting once the weather is more friendly to being outside.
/I did add extra slats as I did not feel that the included few were enough. If your kids dont go cry it may have been fine, but, well, boys . need I say more lol
My Conclusion: For the low cost, this is an acceptable bed if you dont mind adding extra slats to the beds. Part missing otherwise I like it.

Very nice bunk beds. Took a REALLY long time to assemble. Helps to have two people. They were inexpensive so it made up for it!! Good quality.

Good bed but not enough slats

I love this bed. Ordered it for my kiddos and they love it too. Its very sturdy and the assembly didnt take too long. Worth the money Good quality.

I love the sturdiness! But the directions could be better. Like labeling the holes as well as the parts. Perfect.
Sturdy enough for two brothers with a little help
