    shakes a bit...

Excellent, Stylish and safe There is a lot of bolts and a lot of parts, with a 1/4 inch impact drill though I was able to get it assembled in 1 hour 30 minutes by my self. Check out my video and you can see it assembled in about 5 minutes. The box is heavy over 130 pounds, the weight makes it easily get damaged during shipping. mine had a dent on one of the pieces. With it fully assembled and tightened up it still shakes pretty easy. It dose not bother my 9 year old though, he likes the bed. The ladder does have very thin rungs 3/4 inch square tubing.

    Lightweight and Easy to Assemble

Nice product. Takes time to put together. think the part I like best about this bed is that no box spring is needed! I love that part! I also have to state that this company clearly knows kids, and what kids like, because check this out....theres a race track INSIDE the box. Kids LOVE playing with big boxes, and just upped that by actually making the box a toy too. Gotta commend them for some creative thinking. Back to the bed, it comes with all the parts, and even has a few extras just in case you say, drop one down the heating duct register, not that I know anyone who would, LOL. Maybe I would. But it was nice to have the reassurance that despite my clumsiness that I would and could get this put together. It took about an hour and a half to assemble WITH a 6 month old baby interrupting through-out, so its fairly easy and basic. The bed isnt as big as Id imagined, but thats actually okay. This is the perfect size for my 6 year old to get in and out of with ease. I dont have to worry about falls from a height because theres no climbing involved. It is just the right height and size. The instructions are very clear to read, and this is made from quality metal. Its going to last until its outgrown. I love that it has casters so that I can move it around the room. I like to re-arrange regularly to keep things fresh. I also love that those casters can be locked down so it doesnt roll around when I dont want it to. The design is modern, sleek, and very stylish. I love this

Nice size bed, opens space up

This is a pretty cool raised bed with shelving and a desk. The frame and all parts are metal, with the exception of the shelves. Everything is included hardware and tool wise (Allan wrench) to put this together. I highly recommend using an electric drill using one build time on this was still around 3 hours. No damages to any of the materials the only issue we had was a bracket / rail needed to secure the latter to the bed wasnt included with the hardware. Fits a standard twin mattress. Overall, great item for a kids room.

Decent size. Timely to put together

Sturdy, easy to assemble. So cool! We hired a family friend that puts stuff like this together on a daily basis to get this together. Took them about 3-3.5 hours to get it done properly. They didnt really come across any issues, just a lot to do and make sure its sturdy for my kiddos. It over all looks nice, but I wish there was either a pole or backing for the shelving areas so things dont get knocked over. I have a metal twin that looks great underneath this.

This is a nice looking bed, once you get over some challenges of putting it together.

Came as described This bed took my sons and I a weekend to put together. It wasnt extremely difficult, but there were quite a few pieces. It was a great bonding project for my sons and I to do this as a surprise gift for my returning college age daughter. I thought this would free up some space in her room and give it a more mature and fun feel. Once assembled, the bed frame itself looks great. It does open up quite a bit of space. However, make sure you have enough head clearance because getting in and out of bed can be challenging without hitting the ceiling. The extra shelves are great for placing things. The open design allows for another smaller bed/chair/sofa to be put under. Or you can fit a desk there too. Climbing up and down the ladder isnt comfortable at all. The rungs are thin and not padded so it can a bit of a pain on the bottom of the feet. Also, theyre not wide at all so judging steps carefully is important. Changing sheets and making the bed may be a bit of a challenge and adjustment initially. When moving around in the bed and getting in/out of it, the frame wobbles some. Not sure if its something that needs to be adjusted or just how the frame itself is.

adds space storage to a bedroom

Useful loft bunk-style bed. The 3 shelves can each hold 50 lbs. So, adds storage to any bedroom. The opposite side has desk space. Its a great setup for a teenager or pre-teens bedroom. It made a standard en-suite bedroom look larger and apartment-like. Reminds me of a NYC loft apartment. The bed is a twin size and has a max weight limit of 200 lbs. A couple of my younger kids like to go up and play there at the same time. I caution them to not move around too much since it shakes the bed, especially the lower parts. The ladder is not comfortable to step on at all. It would be better if it was flatter and wider. Everything came in a long rectangular box. Which means that everything had to be assembled. It does take 2 people to assemble and it took us about 3.5 hours to complete it (see pic 01). Using a drill for the allen wrench really sped things up. The manual is helpful with its images. The screws bolts were organized very well, making it easy to follow the manual. Recommended.

    update

This is an update from my previous post regarding the loft bed. After some back and forth the company provided me a full refund. Glad it worked out Frances was very helpful once I set the pictures the refund was provided the following day. My daughter was very excited about this bed. Once we put it together and set her mattress up she slept in it. The next morning she let me know it was very hard to sleep in every time she moved the bed moved. We have it secured to the wall but have hard floors. Second night I noticed that even though the bed is rated at a capacity of 250 that even though she is 130 the center bars have no real support causing the bed to bow in the center. This making her back hurt. The metal bars just sit in the cut outs and have no center support brace. After her third night her body hurt so bad she has to start sleeping on the couch. Seller states you can return so I did start the return. Explained why we were returning it and they sent us a label. Problem is they didnt send a prepaid label and the bed is very heavy so it would be too expensive to return. Still working with to get this resolved. I have this bed packed up in my living room on a huge box just waiting for the company to do whats right and send me a label to return this product that we are unable to use for to misinformation in the products description.

    Nice bed

You wont regret this purchase Is a very nice loft bed. I am not able to use the wall attachment to secure the bed because I rent. So every time my son climbs up and down the ladder the bed shakes pretty bad. My son absolutely love his bed even though it shakes.

    Stable but wobbles

This thing is AWESOME!! I bought this lift bed to give myself some more space in a studio apartment. Its stable, but climbing up to the top makes it move a lot. It comes with one device to secure it, and I didnt trust it. So I went out and bought a couple of little securing devices of my own, and it worked great. The bed is solid, and now it doesnt move as much. Id say to pick the size above the one youre thinking of, as when it says the size it means it. The mattress fit, but its not going to move an inch. And it gives no space for a pillow. My toes poke over the end a little when I use a pillow if I lay completely straight.

Nice bed. Sturdy when solidly anchored. Ladder subpar

The Bed is nice. Adds a lot more usable space to the room. I got two of them both kids love them. During assembly, found that some of the welded in anchor points needed to be cleaned out with a thread tap, as they damaged the bolts trying to screw them together. Overall though, assembly was easy and took about an hour. The ladder leaves much to be desired. It is so narrow that my 10-year-old has trouble with it. I tried it, and found that it hurt my feet a lot because the rungs of the ladder are so narrow, its a lot of pressure on a bare foot. The solution for me was $50 in lumber and a little time to make some proper stairs/ladder. Worth noting that another reviewer suggested running a 2 x 4 stringer across the wall anchored to studs, and anchoring the bed to that. We used this idea and the bed is super sturdy now. Without this, the bed is very flimsy and wobbly.
