    Few dings, but cute bed!

Bought this for my four little brothers and they love it so much. Its super sturdy and thick. It gives them their own little space. For the most part it was easy to assemble, though for some of the screws you have to figure out where they go cuz the directions doesnt tell you. And it takes at least two people, if you want to get it done fairly quickly then I would use four people. But all in all I would order again! Very sturdy and durable

    Get a man to help

They only shipped box 2 of 2. Do not buy. Update: tracking is sketchy but both boxes arrived. Everything was there. The bedbis pretty easy if you assemble IKEA furniture. You have to follow the instructions. Overall a great bed, feels really sturdy and is a great compact way to fit 4 beds in a room. truly easy to install

Excellent quality, takes some time to assemble.

This bed is awesome We have four boys, ages newborn to 10yrs, so we knew wed need to change the bed situation in their room. The three oldest are 2, 4, and 10 and they are super excited about this bed. Its very sturdy and very well designed. We got the one with an attached vertical ladder that also has the trundle drawer, to prevent them from using the ladders as a weapon, or a gymnasium Because boys are, well, boys. The only downside to this bed style is that you cant change the orientation of the L shape like you can the other style. And thats because of the trundle bed and positioning of the ladder. My husband and I agreed that since this is for boys instead of girls it probably wont be an issue since they dont care as much about decorating or rearranging their furniture, and also again This has a safer ladder. But this bed is the real deal! Its lower than a standard bunk bed which was important for me too since our boys are so young still. The two younger ones are on the bottom, but if they happen to get on top the fall isnt quite so far. I will say that this took us a very long time to put together. My guess is about 6 hours. But the disclaimer is that, I had to stop and feed the newborn several times, we had to stop to have lunch, and also the 2 and 4 year old were underfoot which made things take longer as well. I will say that many of the predrilled holes were not drilled all the way. So we were hand tightening screws sometimes half the length of the screw directly into the wood. That also made things take way longer than it should have. Now, we could have just pulled out the drill and made that easier, but we didnt want to mess anything up, which is easy to do with too much torc. Also, we figured the extra effort made the bed that much more sturdy because there would be very few loose holes for the screws. It made for a long exhausting day, but we are very pleased with the result! We still havent put the trundle drawer together yet though. Debating it thats wise with how mischievous the little ones are. The instructions were fine for us.I have an eye for details so I went by the pictures and made sure all the pieces were facing the way they demonstrate. Some of the pictures could have been better to show the parts in the back or bottom that are sort of hidden, but we were able to figure it all out without having to take anything apart. All the pieces were in the box.which some have mentioned being an issue. But fortunately, we didnt have that problem. There was only one board with a split in it, but its not weight bearing.its just the top rail on a top bunk. Were debating if we will have them send a replacement piece. We probably will since we want to keep this bed as long as possible. So I definitely recommend this bed! Its large so keep that in mind, but its really worth the price and time it takes to put together! I like the sturdiness and comfort of this product.

this thing is not a 1 hour assembly

Let me start with the worst part, first. My son in law and his friend put this bed together. The instructions were just pictures, no words. The very worst was that 9 looked like 6 and 6 looked like 9 so at first they put the wrong end piece on. Once they started to do the picture instructions and fix the 9/6 they were able to get it together. It was just a nightmare. These are 2 guys who are fairly handy but it still took about 3 hours to get it all together. Oh, and we have some odd plain wood pieces to the stairs that we have no idea where they are supposed to go and dont see in the picture instructions anywhere. Now the good part It is done. Its beautiful. Its sturdy. It will last. My granddaughters love it! My daughter is really happy with it. So, all around we are pleased. Its an awesome bed and perfect for these girls and their room. Very reasonable too!!

    Great Buy

When researching for a low bunk bed, I wanted one with stairs so my child could be safer while climbing rather than using a ladder. Though this bunk bed was on the more expensive side, I took a chance even with all the bad reviews saying its hard to put together and some parts came damaged. After receiving the bunk bed and putting to together, I would agree that many reviews here are truthful. There are no words to help with the instructions, but if youre detailed oriented, its not hard to follow. The hardest part of the install is when you need to not tighten the screws all the way, the manual says 80 tightened, but really it should be 50 tightened or you risk scratching your bed posts with the wood inserts. Other than that, the wood pieces come not perfect and there are scratches and dents here and there. But overall it is sturdy enough for a child, though I would not try to sleep on the top bunk as an adult. I am satisfied overall, and it is a cool bed so I still gave it 5 stars if you can overlook that instructions are not the best and wood is not perfect. Buy it if you are looking for a low bunk bed with stairs. its very nice and I love the color. Worth it

    Sturdy and perfect size

I love it! The bed was easy to assemble, however, the stairs came in a ton of pieces. The bulk of the installation time was assembling the stairs. Other than that, awesome bed! great for guests

Have a LARGE workspace, a partner, and kneepads.

This was definitely a great buy that my daughters love. Im very satisfied with the quality of the bed and how sturdy it is. Each child has plenty of room and I love how low the bottom bed is so I dont have to worry about my child falling out of the top or bottom. Love it! comfortable and stylish product.

Perfect for small kids and toddlers

Cute my daughter likes it a lot. This is a small bunk bed though very short which is what we wanted. I would recommend for toddlers not for teens (the lower bed doesnt have enough height clearance for a teen or adult). The rails is a little flimsy and kinda short. We bought a 8 inch mattress which is allowable per the description but noticed on the top bunk theres little rail sticking out. Otherwise took my husband about 4 hours to put together. Just a lot of steps but not hard. All hardware fit correctly. Seems sturdy enough
