Needed to be placed under a window with drapes. The headboard keeps the pillow on the bed so it can be free standing and not need to be against a wall. Tall enough storage bins fit under easily.
It is a nice looking sturdy bed. It is strong and comfortable. However, assembly require two people, it is difficult to assemble for one person. Assembly is little tricky for some parts, but it is not difficult to figure it out. The bedframe comes with toolkit which makes it easy to assemble.
I recently purchased this king size bed frame as I was tired of a footboard and I wanted something that would give me extra storage space as well. Everything it promises on, it delivers. Great price, super easy to assemble and very, very sturdy. My entire family of 5 plus our 2 dogs were on it for movie night and it never even wobbled. And the amount of extra space I have under the bed is incredible. If you need more storage and want a sturdy bed I would definitely recommend this one.
I bought this to replace a different style of metal frame. I mostly wanted it for the headboard.
I was worried it would be a pain to build, but it was relatively easy. The instructions were clear enough to understand and not throw at the wall. I built it myself in a little under two hours. I am by no means a small woman, and it has held up quite well while supporting me. I am sometimes a rough sleeper, and it doesnt squeak or bounce when I move, which is great. I love that I can store the random not needed items under the bed, out of sight and organized.
This frame is very sturdy. No creeking or sound at all. Looks nice. I bought it to replace a large wood frame that would not fit in my new bedroom. Very comfortable with my queen mattress. The movers assembled the frame for me and they seemed to put together without too much trouble. I highly recommend this bedframe.
