This frame is fantastic. If youre looking for something fancy, keep looking. This is perfect for my 10 year old son and he even helped me assemble it in 45 minutes.
The nuts and bolts were missing from the packaging. I had to return it and order another one. I would rather have had the missing parts sent to me but that was not an option.
Im 9 months pregnant and even I was able to assemble this by myself! I got the California king size and my husband who is 63 finally can lay on a bed without his feet hanging off haha The product itself is awesome! Its sturdy, and absolutely a great price, plus theres tons of space underneath for storage which is great to save your overall room space. You wont be disappointed!
This is a mixed review. Now Im a 60 year old electrician and believe me when I say Ive put a a lot of different stuff together over the years; I know hardware and quality issues when I see it.
Putting this bed together is not rocket science but its pretty damn frustrating when the manufacturer forgets to drill holes, neglects to tap threads and supplies bolts that are too short.
I had to get this bed together and set up in an evening. So after drilling a couple of my own holes, running short bolts up from the bottom to act as pins and not the intended hold down bolts theyre supposed to be and finishing off with coat hanger wire to temporarily secure two pieces that couldnt be bolted together because the hole wasnt threaded I managed to get the bed together. Ill be going back another time to redo it correctly.
The bed frame, king size, is very sturdy and strong. Good luck putting it together. It should go easily if you get the right bolts, they drill all the holes and tap all the threads. Be prepared. Bring some real tools and stuff just in case.
I would give 5 stars but my bad luck and their lack of quality assurance knocks it down to 3 stars.
Instructions were lacking clarity but we figured them out and all bolts and screws were there. We are very happy with the quality and sturdiness I expected a cheaper look because of price but I love this. We used our bunky boards but there is no need just lay mattress on and tons of space under bed for storage
