We got this bed for our daughter and she loves it. She has a little fort under her bed. We installed LED lamps for her so it lights up all different colors. Granted she does not need to study yet but she does have a computer there and she Face times with her friend and watches TV.

Keep in mind that this is a FULL sized bed. No matter how we arrange the bedroom, part of this bed is directly under the ceiling fan. We considered removing the ceiling fan but our college aged daughter insist that she will keep clear of it. Now we need to rig a shelf for her smart phone to charge... might order a 10ft charging cord. Theres a 25 clearing between the top of the bed to the ceiling. The ceiling is 8. The desk area is large and awesome. Perfect for a design major.
My daughter wanted this bed so that she could have a desk in her smallish room. We were redecorating her room anyway so gave it a try. It wasnt hard to put together but I had to assemble the two ends and the mattress support and then we lifted it upright. Assembling it upright would have been a nightmare. The fit was almost perfect. The front rail did not seat perfectly but, all in all, everything else went together fine. The shipper charges to bring the thing into either your house or your garage so read the shipping instructions for the phone number to call so that 2 guys show up to carry it for you. It comes in 2 boxes and one is 100+ lbs and the other is 150+ lbs. I just paid the $100 and had them bring it into my garage where I could take the individual pieces into the room for assembly (much easier). The instructions are just fine and you just have to make sure the ladders face front. The mattress support is labeled with a front sticker so no problems there. I left off the keyboard tray since my daughter uses a laptop and I find them pretty much useless anyway.
Its a good sturdy, made and painted in China, bed. (so I dont know if its toxic or not). I just hope she doesnt slip and fall off of it in the morning when shes groggy. I uploaded a picture and you can see how good it looks (hers is the one on the laminate floor).
I love the loft bed. I have a really small room and didnt have room to move around in my room, this loft bed gave me a lot more space. I essentially have a bedroom and office in one now. The Sleep Inovations mattress goes well with this bed too!
My son got this bed for his 10th birthday. He loves to sleep on the top or just lay there and play on his electronic devices. He has magnetic balls that stick to the frame - he loves it. The desk area is huge. I personally would not like the headroom, but this is a loft - its supposed to feel this way. Lighting is a problem down there, so you need a lamp or other lighting. We had all sorts of problems with the delivery company. There was only one driver when it was delivered. He looked at my house and asked if someone like my husband was available to help him get it off the truck. What!? Anyway, a delivery guy had to come back when they were more prepared because the items are very bulky. I would suggest if you order this item to have a discussion with the delivery company before they refuse to deliver. As for the bed, it is great except for the stickers on the legs - they are actually still on the bed because they were so difficult to remove.
I am 21 over six feet and purchased the twon size version, fits perfectly. Love how sturdy the unit as a whole is. Not the best for two people hint. Other than that would highly recommend for college or computer gamer XD
not one to purchase furniture on line,but happy I did this is everything that they said it was. well built,sturdy and easy to put together ( 2 hrs.) I have always trusted and now I can say that this company is one I would put my trust in.
I was impressed at how well made this bed is. All the primary pieces are steel and when put together snuggly, it feels incredibly solid. Theres lots of space under the bed and it is very practical for using as a deck for both children or adults. I have 8 foot ceilings, and this bed works under that height but just barely.
I bought it for my granddaughter and she loves it. Assembling it was a family project but it was doable. Her lamps are too tall to fit under the shelf so we need to buy a new one.

There was only one bolt at the top left of the bed that would not screw all the way in - that was a bummer but all is well regardless. The bed is very sturdy and solid. The mattress size is full - although Ive seen reviews that say its a queen. It is NOT a queen-sized mattress. I bought this bed because my daughter is home-schooled and I wanted to add a desk to her room. Unfortunately, her room is very small so this bed was the perfect answer for us.

Created so much Space in my Room
