Its a cute chair. I wouldnt consider it velvet. Its more like a polyester corteroy. Its pretty comfortable but not as much as I hoped. The rocking takes a bit of effort because it doesnt glide easily. I like it though and am keeping it. Definitely will need to get an ottoman for more comfort. Im 55 and it fits me, but wish the base was a little deeper and it rocked more. It also has a weird grinding noise when rocking.
Absolutely satisfied with the quality and comfort of this rocker! Beautiful addition to the nursery if you are looking for something sleeker than those big rockers!
The average global height of a woman is 54 and this chair feels massive to someone who is 54. I see other women of similar height rate this product highly with the caveat of needing a footstool or buying another product to make it fit, but I bought this chair specifically because it was supposed to be comfortable to someone 54. For $600 I expect a nursing chair to actually accommodate womens proportions.
One of the main things I wanted for my daughters nursery was a good rocker. I looked at so many and finally went with this one! I was hesitant because it does cost a lot, however it is 100% worth the cost! It is possibly the best rocker I have ever used! It is so comfy, glides very smoothly and is perfect for me and my short little legs! I am in love!
Its a beautiful stylish and a comfy chair, however, it does not work for a small space. My whole family hit their feet against the bottom so hard and tripped over it. Returning it for our safety.
Nice quality, easy too assemble, looks nice. This rocker is very comfortable. Lovely design - not your typical nursery rocker. It will look good in any room. The Dijon colour is beautiful - sophisticated and a beautiful option to the generic greys and off whites.
