Very easy to set up. It is not soft very soft or cushy like I had hoped. It is very hard and not comfortable For some people they might like that. However, the reason I bought it was for spare bed. I purchased a single mattress for the top of it when I have company so it will work perfect for that. Just NOT an everyday chair.
Also, or is very low to the ground It looks beautiful bedroom in my room with a Bohemian style rug. Even though I do not give it up four or five star rating is definitely a beautiful decorative piece and a place to sit by the window if you dont min s sitting on something hard.
i saw the reviews were iffy, but i took the chance anyway and am very very happy it seems theyve learned from all your feedback, dear previous reviewers. everything was carefully wrapped and the hardware pouch had a giant caution tape type plastic tail that said hardware all over it, and contained all necessary parts. the instructions were succinct on one side of one page and the whole assembly was very easy and intuitive, though i am fairly adept at furniture assembly, so if youre already on the struggle bus with instructions, perhaps enlist some help or buy an assembled chair. all parts were intact and included. i didnt use one of the arms bc of my rooms set up and it worked beautifully to have that custom detail.
its quite sturdy and plywood on most of it, one of the better designed and executed discount furniture pieces ive seen/purchased; even better than some . the foam is very firm and will take some breaking in to soften, which is better than the alternative. if youre looking for something cute and cheap and you like this chair, go for it; youll love it if you have crate and barrel taste and are easily frustrated, skip it.
also, this chair would be quite portable for a trade show or similar, though not entirely portable it does assemble and disassemble and fold up really nicely. the ottoman is attached to the chair with two substantial hinges that make a clamshell to hold the arms/legs, just a thought.

Cute chaise. Accent pillows were not included as described in the item description. Directions to assemble were a bit outdated and didnt match the hardware included, but it was easy enough to figure out. Feels very soft and relatively sturdy. Sits lower to the ground than a traditional couch or chair, but will work in my reading book. Likely too short to sleep on (Im 510) but a kid might be comfortable.
It was super easy to assemble, did it on my own with no help. It looks so pretty and classy. Is not as comfortable as I was thinking but it still does the job and it can be set flat for a guest, kid probably, to sleep on. High Quality, Modern and Elegant

I have been looking for a purple studded chair for a year for my bedroom. I found this on and immediately ordered it. My dad helped me put it together, unfortunately doesnt go well in my bedroom, but is in my living room for now (May put it in the loft). This is such a beautiful piece!!! If your looking for a statement piece for your living room or bedroom, sitting room, this is it!! Very well made (although I did have an issue with one of the screws.... the hole wasnt drilled properly, so my dad had to drill a hole) other than that, I have no complaints about this chair!! Absolutely STUNNING!!
