This was a great purchase. We bought it for our 6 and 8/year/old sons to use. Theres plenty of room on the bottom bunk for our oldest to sit up and still plenty of ceiling clearance on the top bunk. It was pretty easy to put together. My husband did most of it by himself and only needed me there for 1 step. The only real issue was some of the slat inserts on the frame were wonky, but my husband was able to put the slats in with some force. Perfect for my needs.
Good bed very sturdy I wiegh about 210 and I throw my two 30 pound dogs up there with me before I go to sleep. So it supports me and my 2 dogs. Only major problem is the should make a little slice open where you get on top with the ladder and or round the top bar. Also the ladder should have rounded rungs the pointy edges really hurt sometimes more so when your bigger and the dig into your feet. Overall great product for the price though. HAPPY!!

I would suggest reading all the directions FIRST, then laying the bed out, and assembling all the side rails AT ONE TIME.

The rail does not stand up very far however, so be sure your mattress is not thicker than 6.
My sons mattress is 11 so I had to add a rail above the existing to go up another 6 so he could not roll off.
I would advise having 2 people put this together and carry the box. I had to unpack it from off my truck rather than carry as it is pretty hefty. It took me around 4/6 hours on and off to assemble it as I was on my own.
The material is sturdy and the packaging assures it is not damaged.

Amazing.Bought this for my grand daughter who has a small room and is 11 years old. Instantly gave her more space to do her arts and crafts projects with her mom or her friends. Tons of room under the desk to put bins or pull out storage for all her supplies plus games, toys etc. Great product!
