This came exactly as pictured. I was prepared for an afternoon of assembling it, but to my surprise it arrived already put together. All I had to do was screw the legs on. Worth every penny. Sturdy, nice looking piece of furniture.
At first glance, you are over-whelmed with all the parts and the instructions just have diagrams; but each piece come together perfectly if you just follow the pictures. Unit is very attractive and works perfectly for our use. The center drawers were a little smaller than I imagined but the side drawers were large enough. Looks exactly as pictured. The cushion is not soft, so it wouldnt be something you would get for extra seating.
I had a very small narrow space where I needed a shoe bench that looked good and this bench is perfect! Definitely well thought out design. The bench is very sturdy on my carpeted floor so I didnt have to use the wall tether.
NOTE: The color is a bit different than what is in the description. Its more of a grayish-blue; has an almost gun-metal gray tone to it.
Just a side note, I ordered a console table Knocbel 59 Inch Long Entry Console Table with Drawers and Bottom Open Shelf, Narrow Sofa Table for Entryway Hallway Living Room (Antique Navy) that matches this little bench. The color is not really navy blue however, its more of a slate grayish blue... not a wedgewood blue either... in certain light its almost a gun metal gray.
I was a little worried that this cabinet is shipped assembled because I thought it would increase the risk of damage in transit. I dont think Ive ever seen anything wrapped better. Every side and corner and well insulated. The construction is sturdy; its perfect for corralling shoes in my back hall. I also didnt expect much out of the fabric, but its actually nice quality, well sewn and has a zipper across the back. Very pleased!
