Also, the side rails on the top are not very strong. Ill be finding stronger wood and painting it black to replace these eventually. White is really off white or cream. Other than that they are as advertised. It did take two of us 7 hours to put together. Not hard just alot of pieces. Slats were not long enough as predrilled holes missed bed frame, we had to adjust as needed on each slat. Perfect and Sturdy.
The wood quality is not very good. A lot of cracks in the wood. A lot of the parts to the set seem cheap. The instructions were easy to follow and it was not hard to put together. The quality of the wood is just very poor. As you can see in my pictures the cracks in the wood. They were like that out of the box.
It looks nice but putting it together was a huge pain. The pre drilled holes were uneven. We had to drill new holes in order to put together and it took ridiculously long to build because of that.
Arrived with all pieces. Directions are easy to understand. Was only used for a week before the headboard broke when my daughter stepped on it (she weighs 62 pounds). I contacted the manufacturer to get a replacement part, and was told it is very important to only climb on the ladder because the other parts of the bed do not support weight well. I returned the bed to buy one that is more sturdy.
The woodslats are too far apart and dont provide that much support. Im going to buy more wood slats to fill the large holes. I should of not installed them and just bought the wood slats that are already connected and you can just roll out onto the bed frame. So I dont recommend.
