This was easy to assemble with two people. Took me and my husband around 3 1/2 hours to put together. Is the paint amazing? No, but its not a dealbreaker. There was a broken piece and we have no clue how to get a hold of mfr to get a replacement piece. That is my only negative feedback really.
Save yourself the headache..DO NOT BUY!!! Halfway through putting the bed together, I noticed there were missing pieces of hardware and missing instructions for top bunk and slide assembly. I had to go out and buy 20 screws and bolts just to realize more hardware wasnt included later on. I wouldve sent it back for a refund if I had not already put so much energy into taking everything out of boxes and if my kids werent so excited about theyre new bed. Ive yet to receive a response from the manufacturer about the missing instructions so that I can buy the missing hardware and fully complete assembly. Some pieces also came scratched, as if they had been used already.

It took about 9 hours to put together. The slides sides didnt want to cooperate so there was damage done trying to shove the pieces together. Other than that the quality is good and the beds are sturdy. I would recommend this to a friend.
We made a few changes to this item,overall it is good I like these beds they are easy to install and are sturdy, the paint job isnt the best but it can always be painted. One thing I did have to add was an under cover for the top bunk small wood chips were falling on bottom bunks
Exceeded my expectation on quality It took about 4 hours for 2 people to build. It was definitely not the easiest to assemble. The split a piece of wood trying to screw in a screw and a small chunk of wood broke off the corner. I was missing hardware and given extras of others. All in all, my kids love the bed though.
