I bought this chair to accommodate my little old dog who always wants to cuddle in my lap, and this chair has exceeded my expectations! Its extremely comfortable, and the adjustable back is supportive and sturdy. I anticipate MANY years of use from this chair.
I bought this to use on a futon for a home office and its way better than other cheaper ones I tried and returned. I did buy a small back support to help since I sit at it for 4/6 hours at a time working at my computer, but if you were using it for playing games or watching TV no reason for any additional support. Bottom is firm and comfy too.
This chair has exceeded my expectations (a rarity for an purchase.) During these pandemic times Ive been working on my laptop a lot more in bed. But using pillows to prop myself up has been murdering my lower back. I needed something that would turn my bed into a supportive reclining chair. This item has fit the bill perfectly. Its light enough to place on my bed when I need it, and easy to fold up and stick under my bed when I dont. Its well padded and even bigger than I expected. Im 511 and 180 pounds and theres room to spare. Im buying one for my hubby so we can have a comfy movie night in bed.
I bought this because a) my joints arent what they used to be and b) I have a kotatsu (low heated table) that I want to enjoy and sitting on the floor is painful. After looking at some other floor chairs that offered back support, I went for the cushioned version.
Of note: If you are using this to sit at a low table, be aware that the seat cushion is THICK / you may bump your thighs/knees on the underside of the table. That said, its comfortable / I dont feel any frame pieces digging in anywhere, and Im a pear/shaped 200 pounds so Im not the most delicate flower to begin with. The back and seat are wide / wider than they seemed in the pictures / which is great for comfort and support, but might put a kink in any storage plans you have.
No assembly necessary / also nice / it comes folded in half in the box. Pull from the box, remove the plastic bag, and boom, ready to go. [There are no instructions, so refer to the listing photos on how to adjust!

It is a decent size chair that sits on my living room floor. I live in a two bedroom apt. And like the option of sitting closer to ground for a different view point ( like when watching TV). My daughter inclines it to a flatter position and naps on it.
