I like the firm support. However I have lower back issues so I feel it leans back too far. Should be in a more upright position. I already got rid of the box so am unable to return it. Feel like money spent was wasted. hope this review help you
Love this rocker! Item arrived on time. Assembly required. When assembling, make sure to install all screws loosely first before finally tightening all down so as to leave room for adjustment to properly align holes for screw placement if needed. The chair is very comfortable. Quality is good. Color is quite a bit darker than it looks in the picture, more of a dark grey, but very pretty and I love the style. If you are looking for a soft cushioned chair this is not the one for you. The cushion is very firm, but I prefer that so no issues there. For reference, I am 54 1/2 tall. My length is in my legs and I am short from the waist up. The seat back is ergonomically designed and comfortable for me and while my feet do not sit flat on the floor, my toes and the balls of my feet do touch the floor so for me there are no issues with being able to rock but if that is an issue for you then the addition of a small footstool would solve that problem. If you are 56 and above then you should have no problem with your entire foot making contact with the floor. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this chair.
I have been wanting a rocking chair for years. I bought this one and it is OK. I love the fact that its high back and a deep seat. I am 56 and my feet touch the floor at my toes. The arms are lower than what I had expected. I had wanted a chair that I could sit in and read a book with my arms being supported better by the arms. The seating and the back of the chair are not as soft as what I had expected. I do have carpet in my apartment and its not as easy to rock in this chair as what I had hoped. I like to really rock and I cant get the desired rock I was looking for in this chair. I wish I had my great grandmothers rocking chair. The bottom of the chair has strips on it to keep from messing up your flooring and from sliding around. I believe its a well-made chair, it is a beautiful chair. I just wish I could put some WD-40 on it to make it rock a little bit better for me. I also sit Indian style and its kind of hard to do in this chair because the arms are so low. I will be keeping the chair. It is really pretty

I am a small person though (5 ft tall) and it was way too big for me as my feet did not touch the floor and my head hit the backrest way below where it should have, making sitting in it not at all the experience I had hoped for. I contacted the seller and was going to return the chair. The seller was very responsive and a pleasure to work with however, before I began the return process, I tried putting a large euro cushion on the seat and a small ottoman under my feet and the chair is perfect for me now. As a bonus all the normal size people in my house can use it also! Love the chair and loved the outstanding customer service. ez to install!
