its absolutely little to non , unless your doing flips tricks jumps. Personally I did not tighten the bed completely because Itll have to be taken down eventually so the sturdiness isnt too sufficient , but the bed will definitely hold support a lot of weight. I am 240 lbs it supports me my children . Very helpful.
So I came home to a very annoyed husband who was exacerbated by the assembly of this bed frame. Id like to say with team work, we easy accomplished this construction project, but there was just yelling and throwing of pieces. The instructions are trash. Youre basically just on your own. We bought this bed frame for under 300, and I see that as a great deal. The stickers on the top support pieces are a pain, but we have not tried to remove them yet. We are using a box spring with our frame and that makes our bed like 3 feet tall. Which is a lot taller than a normal bed. Im happy with this bed so far. It doesnt creak, but Id suggest the manufacturer include rubber washers. Very compact.
This bed is a modern bed . Its very feminine and pretty. It took my boyfriend and me two hours to put together. Its really nice. I used a boxspring on my bed. The bed rails are locked in with some plastic .They are popping off everyday, I am going to have to lock them in again.
Update: its a little squeaky, but its holding up Very nice product!
Great bed just as it is described. My only issue was it said it would take 1 1/2 hours to complete but took me 4 hours to assemble but great bed!! Will be ordering more.
I LOVE my new bed!!!! I cant speak too much to the assembly as my Dad and my sons did that part. It took them a long time because they tightened things too early and then had to loosen literally every screw to out the slats in. So, my advice. leave the screws loose until the absolute end.
As of now its sturdy, noise free and beautiful. There hasnt been much activity on the bed other than sleeping but it feels great, no squeaks. Also plenty of height for underbed storage. I added a 12 memory foam mattress and some curtain sashes from a local store and Voila! Very happy.

The bed is simple. Works great for my daughter. Wouldnt suggest it for an adult bed, but perfect for a kid. Well made. It was just what I wanted.
