My boys are 4 and 6 and incredibly brave. My oldest has been asking for a bunk bed for about two years and we finally decided after moving that he and his little brother were ready. It did not take long to assemble. You definitely need two people so as to hold parts together. But over all as long as the instructions are followed it goes quickly. And the height is perfect! My boys have already jumped off of it which is against the rules, but seeing as they are boys its going to happen, and no injuries! I am able to relax and not worry. It really is the perfect little bunk bed! And sturdy enough for us never to worry! Great value
I set this up on my own in under 3 hours, and those were 3 very distracted hours of coming back and going to the project. Once I had assembled it, I was very impressed with the sturdiness of it, my kids were all over it the moment the slide went on and the mattresses were placed.
That being said a few small details: For the top bunk, dont exceed an 8 mattress, you can go with 10, but you will have very little guard rail, and with a 12, you pretty much wont have any. The bottom bunk was fine with a 10, but again, this is a low bunk bed, so dont expect for an adult to be sitting upright down there. The slide is a bit Fast and will send your kid to the ground quick, so as per the warnings, probably not ideal for a kid under 6 or one that doesnt do well with being a little gravity conscious. But a 45YO will probably be ok if they can prove being responsible on a top bunk. The ladder and slide are extremely sturdy, in fact I would have these guys replace my attic ladder if they were in the business. The slide while a bit fast is also sturdy, they dont shortcut out with screws and use bolts for high impact areas throughout the product. Excellent quality and Excellent choice
This has been a great addition to the kids room. The lower bunk has a frame to keep the mattress from directly sitting on the floor for better air flow and is low enough that the one in our bottom bunk will not fall far when they toss and turn.
The only hard part to put together was adding the slats to the headboard and footboard. If I have to take that apart, we will use wood glue to make that easier to manipulate. Thank you for the excellent customer service
Beautiful bunk bed. Priced very reasonable! My husband and I were able to assemble the bed very easily. Only complaint I have is I paid over 500 for the bunk bed with slide but a few days later they dropped the price to 400. I wasnt really too pleased about that. Other than that my girls love the bed and its beautiful! Very reasonable too!!
We had been on the hunt for a bunk bed for our two youngest (3YO and 1YO) for quite some time. Unfortunately, many were priced quite high for something that we would only get temporary use out of. Thankfully, we found this bunk bed and jumped on it.
Assembly My husband assembled the majority of it on his own. I just came in for the last twenty minutes or so to hold the major sections for him.
Durability The bed feels very sturdy. It helps that the top bunk is supported by a metal bar. This bar helps to ease any concerns that I may have about the top bunk falling on our youngest. I can climb up there as well to put on sheets/take them off, etc.
The angle of the ladder is excellent as it makes it easier to climb up. My 1YO can climb up easily. Were still working on climbing down. The price is reasonable though.
Great value for the price. It does take some time to assemble, but the end product makes it so worth it. The kids love it. I would recommend ordering. its very nice and I love the color. Worth it
Bought these for my 3 5 year olds. I also purchased the cloth that goes around the bottom bunk. They have so much fun playing on the slide. And in their house as they call it. Great quality. I put it together by myself (1 person) and it took about 2 full hours to finish. Definitely worth it. I purchased a lucid 6 inch mattress for the top bunk, and an 8 inch for the bottom bunk. They are perfect for what I was needing. The 6 inch is pretty firm, but I didnt want anything too thick. The 8 inch is a lot more cushioned and more comfortable in my opinion. But both are great for kids! I was worried about having to purchase extra slats for the top bunk because of the other reviews, but I did not have to. With the design and the mattress I got, there are no problems. comfortable and stylish product.
Bought to get mattresses off the floor and yet not allow toys to disappear under the bed. Gives more play room for the kids. Went together well, a second person was needed. Arrived all in 1 box way too heavy for any one to left and even struggle to roll it over to get to the side to cut tape. Took piece by piece to upper level. Would be nice if instruction pages had explanations/ directions instead of just a picture. Had to take apart a couple times as it didnt specify which sides were to face inward. Other than that we got it together within a few hours. Seems sturdy enoug
