After reading reviews I was excited to get a smaller chair. This is not small. Its the size of a recliner. The bar where your legs are supposed to sit dig in so it definitely needs more cushion and if you lean back at all it goes way back. You feel as though youre going to fall (not dumb enough to see if I will). It would be uncomfortable and impossible to feed a baby while sitting in. But assembly was super easy. Doesnt make up for how it doesnt work but we will be buying a different chair for the babys nursery so that she doesnt go flying backwards when I try to lean back and relax. To small for the price.
Love it!
I was nervous about this item considering the negative reviews but fortunately, Ive had none of those issues.
The rocker rocks well, even on carpet. Maybe a little bit of a slower rock, but that doesnt bother me.
My husband put it together in about 40 minutes. I think it looks really nice, especially for the price. We wanted something we could rock the babies in now that would blend in with our furniture in the future. We already have a classic glider in the nursery itself and wanted to stick to a minimal budget. It fits those requirements beautifully.
As for the size, Im currently 8 months pregnant and 142 lb. I can fit myself, my 3/year/old and my 18 month old in it cozily. Reading books with just my 3/year/old on my lap is totally comfortable.
It does lean a far amount back, but I just use a little throw pillow to sit myself up. Very pleased!
Absolutely love this rocking chair. Weve had it for about 4 mi the now and Im still impressed. I was hesitant to buy at first because I didnt think it would hold up because of the design, however I love the design and look. Its so comfortable. We use it downstairs to rock our little one or just to sit in. Im going to get another one for upstairs. Im 51 and my husband is 57. It works for both of us and its so comfy. Buy the chair. Solid and basic.
Im 54, and this chair leans so far back in resting position that my feet dont touch the floor, which makes it impossible to rock. With my daughter in my lap, its front/heavy enough that I can rock it, so I still use it, but I cant relax in it on my own. Its not as sturdy as I would have like.
The chair is comfortable, however the assembly is not easy. Have to put the seat cover on then put some screws through it, but there are no holes on the material to show where we should put the screws. Sturdy for light items.

Front support
The front support bar is uncomfortable on the back of the legs Well made, easy to assemble and useful.

Leans too far back for short people
