This chair is super cute and very easy to put together.... except the instructions are not very clear or correct. The first step instructs you to take off the gas lift cap. I ended up having to use several tools to try to get it out. I followed the remainder steps but my chair would not lift. After reading the review of the gas lift cap having to remain, I put it back into the gas lift. Then, I was able to adjust the height of the chair.
Be forewarned, it took me over an hour to assemble with the included hex hand wrench. Highly recommend using hex head bits with a drill/driver. Other than that assembly was very simple and the chair is very sturdy and looks great and is very comfortable.
I love this chair! BUT, it was too low for me. I was using it at the desk when I work. It just sat too low. One of the screws did not light up but it was an easy fix with the drill (thats why the 4 stars not 5)I would have kept the chair but I did not have anywhere to use it.
