I put the bed together by myself. It came with all the parts I needed. My husband helped with the canopy part. A lot of the reviews made me nervous about purchasing but so far I have had it for about 5 months I think and it is still in great condition. The other reviews said you couldnt have intercourse on it ( which worked out fine) or put much weight on it but between me, my husband, my daughter and dog, the bed has around 500lbs on it and so far everything is fine.
I purchased this for 170. Its a good deal for a queen frame. If you are getting gold, DO NOT expect gold. It will be a bronzeish brown. It is still gorgeous but its just painted metal and it looks brownish. Only other complaint is it is not sturdy. If thats a concern for you, buy bed frame stabilizers. I did and it works great. Its not like youre going to be hanging from the canopy bars so who cares。 For the price and looks this is 100 worth it. Its easy to put together and also really cute I get so many compliments on it lol. However, If you value sturdiness over aesthetics just save up to buy a better bed frame。
Love my bed so much, the only bad thing I would say is it squeaks when you get on it or off it, I have a dog so hes constantly jumping on it and the sound can be quite annoying but other than that, ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Its pretty and wasnt so hard to assemble once you follow instructions.

Ive had this bed for two weeks and its just my dog and i that sleep on it and its the loudest squeakiest bed Ive ever had. I just turn over at night and its making a bunch of noise. Other than that its an okay bed really. I put it together by myself and had to call their hotline for help because i tightened the screws as i went along and wasnt able to get some of the parts to fit. You have to let them stay just loose enough so that they can bend a bit i guess, idk. But its a canopy bed wooo Seems sturdy enoug
The box that the bed came in was delivered with both ends opened and damaged. Thankfully, the parts were all there and it was undamaged. It seems to be sturdy. Although I am a bit iffy about it. It is a beautiful bed, even more so with the canopy that I purchased. For the price, I cant complain. Unless it falls apart. But so far, so good. We have slept on it two nights so far. its worth it to me!
Ive bought two of this type of bed frame in the past year. One white and one gold, I highly recommend this frame for a carpeted room ONLY. I believe thats why some people are having stability issues. The white frame was my first purchase and is the best, I had do the assembly. Overall it is lovely. The gold one was my second purchase, which I put together myself. It does not feel as sturdy as the white one, I have squeaking problems with the slightest moves consistently. Everything is screwed in tight so Im not sure why one squeaks and the other doesnt. But for the price, you cannot beat this frame. Plus it is very cute, I get tons of compliments.
Its a perfect starter frame. However, I do love the fact it just needs the mattress which saves from being way higher off the ground. Its pretty simple to put together if you follow the IKEA style instructions. All parts and tools came with it. So all you really need is, body strength. It does take some time putting together.
So my cons are. it squeaks. a lot. When you sit, turn, slip and get up out of bed. I ended up adding on rubber washers to try to help lessen the squeak. But its metal, right? Its going to not be silent. It does squeak more than I prefer. I purchased the king size and Im 150lbs and it makes noise as one person.
I recommend getting rubber washers if you get this. Also, never had issues with bending of the metal poles under the bed. Not sure what people are doing (questionable) or maybe theyre not the weight for it. Who knows. But I will say I did test it out after I put it together by mimicking noises as if someone else was in the bed (shaking it and moving it back and forth) and lets say, it might not be roommate or child friendly. just a FYI.
Other than that. Its perfect if you move and need to take it apart. I like it. It works.
