I bought this chair specifically for the nice wide seat - supposedly 30 W and 23 D. All of the dimensions given in the description are incorrect. The overall dimensions are wrong and the actual seat is only 20 W and 21 1/2 D. I contacted the sellers but they did not respond to me. It would cost me more than the chair cost to return it! You should be able to trust the descriptions and dimensions given.
Otherwise the chair is very nice.

I would never recommend this product. I had surgery and it was recommended I get a recliner for sleeping. The night of my surgery I was sleeping and shifted my weight and the chair flipped backwards. I am 115 pounds so I wanted a small simple chair. This chair should not be used with mothers with infants, surgical patients or anyone really
