This item arrived with huge tears and two large holes in it’s box. Hardware (washers and screws) were missing, likely having had fallen out of the box.
The rose gold trim at the base of the ottoman was dented, and it should be noted the metal-looking trim is in fact plastic (!!!) which was mentioned nowhere in the product details.
All of that aside, its a beautiful chair for the spot I needed to fill. The beige color is really the offest off-white, nearly white, and thankfully not beige at all. I used my own pillows rather than the two that came with the chair, as the feel cheap to me, and are quite small.
Overall, a nice purchase and a nice addition to the room.
I gave this a 3 because it is cute but it is so hard. I would never sleep on it. Ive added some pillows and its OK for about an hour to sit on. It came with edge protectors which fell off within the first 5 minutes. Material is nice. Easy to assemble
The box arrived earlier than expected. The piece (beige) was very nice. Elegant transitional look. Easy to screw legs on, easy to slide ottoman onto chair, and easy to slide arms on. Back ratchets up and down easily to lay flat for sleeping and upright for chair. It is a firm cushion, so if you like very soft beds, this is not for you. If youre okay with firmness, its very nice. I have an extra memory foam pad I can put over it for the occasional guest who might want it softer. Mostly I use it for a reading lounge for myself ... very happy with this purchase.
It’s a little smaller and less sturdy then u thought based on the photo.
But it’s beautiful and still makes a great guest bed for one adult.
It’s about the size of a twin bed when opened up.

Pretty couch and extra twin bed
