This a darker finish than you will imagine, almost black. We loved it, but the color didnt fit the room, so we bought a lighter one with a slightly different shaped leg from the same dealer. One in the office, one in the living room.

This table is perfect for the spot between a leather recliner and a Stickley chair. It is all wood, not particle board or MDF. While I read the directions, I missed one small direction and so I encourage you to read all the directions BEFORE you put it together. The shelf goes in much easier the way the directions explain / you wont scratch the table legs if you follow the directions. It is a simple assembly and took only 15 minutes to put together. The finish is lovely and the color perfect for what I needed. It is more of a deep, dark cherry, than a reddish cherry.
